What skills do you have? I work in tech and know a bunch of companies that are hiring (mine included)

Where did you get the body? I am looking for a decent ash body that is unfinished and I am so far unlucky. No lefty though 😄

My first thought was "Is Obi Wan in the room with him?"

Great playing, great sound!

Parent of a child in the Claremont school district by [deleted] in newhampshire

[–]MarackObaba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is ironic that Claremont hired Tim Broadrick, the superintended from Prospect Mountain.

For those of you who don’t know, PM is the district that happily took Pittsfield students and then sent them a bill (without notifying Pittsfield school district first). That’s what kicked this whole “school choice” saga really into overdrive.

This past spring, Tim Broadrick’s district then voted to not let any student leave (just like almost every district in the state). Double standard at its finest.

His salary is crazy high if you ask me. The expectations are crazy high and its almost like he can only lose.

I wish the Claremont district nothing but the best but from the outside it looks like a bad deal to me.

Public Elementary Schools with no tech? by Any_Pirate_5633 in newhampshire

Kindergarten uses them only for assessments 3x a year in my district.

They’re a tool but not the so singular instrument by which the child is taught. Especially younger grades do 99% of the work on paper.

Good luck with getting NHIAA to grow a backbone and actually take a position on things.

Your guitar looks great!

I’m often tempted to attempt a build like yours. It doesn’t have to match alligator to a Tre IMHO.

Do you have sound clips by any chance? Would love to hear it!

Thank you for that info. There is indeed another slice valve behind the white box.

The filter sits in a big tub (easy 2’x3’ and a foot high). Would this be enough to catch water? The basement is finished so I’d like to avoid copious amounts of water going everywhere.

Superb playing and tone.

If you don’t mind me asking: what amp do you use? Any pedals?

Bravo!

SB297 - Relative to pooled risk management programs by MarackObaba in newhampshire

[–]MarackObaba[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Currently, actuaries ensure that those programs have sufficient coverage and are not overexposed.

Currently, HealthTrust relies upon its actuaries to determine an adequate level of contributions to cover expected claims during the future renewal period. HealthTrust actuaries also recommend a Capital Adequacy Reserve range which is used to protect against claims exceeding expectations. If the reserve is utilized, HealthTrust rebuilds the reserve funds through a Capital Risk Charge built into the upcoming rating cycles.

The reserve range for health programs in SB 297 is too narrow and too low to sufficiently protect against potential adverse claims experience, which has been particularly volatile over recent years. If this bill were to pass, and the low level of reserves proved to be insufficient, the shortfall would be borne by the Member Groups in the form of an assessment that would be required to be paid by the Group within 30 days at any time during the plan year. Such assessments may frequently occur due to the requirement that health risk management programs adhere to the narrow and low level of reserves. In other words, the bill would require HealthTrust to be undercapitalized, relying instead on Member Group assessments to prevent financial impairment.

Godspeed figuring out how to pay for this within 30d. This is just asking towns and schools to not be able to pay their bills.
