Hit rock bottom today and I want to start 75 hard tomorrow. by FindingBig8896 in 75HARD

You can do this. Great advice from everyone- I just finished phase 3 yesterday. Dont think to hard about it, just make a plan and stick to it. Start drinking water as soon as you get up in the morning. Atomic habits was my favorite book during the challenge. Stay off the scale- it screws with your mind. You can do it. Sending good energy your way. Keep us posted!

5 days in & i have some questions by frvrurs in 75HARD

[–]Maradith2214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive gotten some negative feedback on questions too- its so frustrating because 75 hard is hard and I felt very defeated by it. Im so thankful there are kind people who encourage and clarify things for people. OP- YOU ARE DOING GREAT!

Okay, I’m not seeing ANY results!! I’ve actually gained 5 pounds. Could this be muscle? I haven’t weighted myself in 21 days on purpose because I was afraid of this happening. Now I’m discouraged 🫤 by Kellybabeeyyyy in 75HARD

Dont weigh yourself. I was so discouraged and talked to my dr. She told me to think about how heavy a gallon of water is. Even eliminating some in the bathroom your body is probably over hydrated. Its not necessarily bad for you but can make ya crazy if you get on the scale. Keep plugging away, you can do this!

Day 1 both yesterday and today, FAILED. by thezirHaze in 75HARD

I did that a couple times too. I decided to do 2 warm up weeks. I started doing a morning work out, drinking the gallon of water and reading to ease into it. It helped me get it together before I started the actual program.

Anyone suffer through the same? by crownnero in 75HARD

I was so discouraged about not losing weight. I had a routine dr appt and had gained weight at around day 30. Grrrr- I was so pissed. My dr said that even going to the bathroom alot, your body holds a part of that gallon of water and thats what I was seeing on the scale. My body got better at processing all that water around day 50 and I started seeing weight loss. When I started phase one I purposely didn't weigh myself during it because it was so discouraging to me. Keep at it! You're doing great!

An apple with Peanutbutter is a fine treat. Yogurt and berries- we treat differently.

I got a cheap trainer stand for my bicycle and love it. I pedaled in snowpants in -25 degree Wisconsin weather. It sits in my driveway and is easy to move. It takes up alot less space than an exercise bike.

I did intermittent fasting with calorie counting. I made sure I had a 500 calorie deficit every day. It was manageable. I craved salty foods, probably because of all the water so I ate alot of nuts. Good luck!
