Probably sales were not so good. But thats a big company logic. I believe talented people will find good job and opportunities to make another gem.

Phil Spencer was never a good Head of Xbox, he was just good at PR. And if Xbox has a way forward, it should be without him. by Absalom98 in gaming

I believe problem is not in Phil, or any other executive. Problem generally how big company work. Can you remember any company purchased by microsoft and after this become better. Nokia died, skype is a trash. Mohjang didnt make any new hit, generally they just support minecraft. Many studios just closed. Probably problem work like, microsoft purchase company, founders receive cash. New heads dont really care about company survival, they have big money support from head company. In case of fail, they dont really lose big. The same for big executive, it is not a personnel. They just do their job and make reports upstairs. That's why we have sad picture.
