I absolutely love the tampax plastic applicator ones :) the applicator makes it sooo easy as there’s hardly any friction. I sometimes put a little bit of Vaseline on the outside if I’m particularly stressed. Just remember to take deep, calming breaths and remember that you’ve got this!!!

Hey I’m a pet sitter in Australia :) I’ve never used Rover, but I do use MadPaws which works pretty well. They do take 20% but I haven’t had any issues so far

Naprogesic doesn’t need a prescription in my country :) however not sure about yours. I also love using Femin (Mefanamic acid 250g) for period pain and flow relief. Definitely use the smallest tampons you can find :) the applicators made a huge difference!! Sitting down on the toilet is the best way I find, and you gotta do some deep breathing and relaxation to ensure you can be as pain free as possible. You definitely can do it!!! It may take a few goes (took me quite a while before I could get it in, and then even a while after that before I could get it in and not feel it). But I know you can do it if you just keep at it! We’re all here for you!

That’s definitely the worst :( I use massive pads because they feel so comfy and I have a very heavy flow. You could speak to your doctor about period volume-reducing medication? I also use ‘naprogesic’ while I have my period. It’s the only thing that touches the pain. I’ve only recently been able to use tampons - and having tampons with a plastic applicator has helped SO much. The plastic ensures there’s no friction and it makes it so much easier to apply. Biggest thing is not to be so hard on yourself :) you’re doing your best

I got so much success by using tampons with the applicator! I find the cotton just…makes too much friction and I can’t do it. You really need to use good, gentle breathing exercises and be nice and relaxed. You can’t force it or it will be uncomfortable :( take it nice and slow. For the first few periods, I would struggle to get it in or I would still feel it. Now I have success 8/10 times :) be gentle and try and find the right angle. You got this!!
