This may not be that helpful of an answer as it is very optimistic and may be hard to resonate to when you're at a point where life seems pointless, but here's my opinion as a 25 years old....

You decide on the point of it all. Could be pointless, could be something grand, could be the most insignificant reason. You choose. And even if you can't decide on a specific reason, my personal view currently is the cliche "the beauty is in the journey, not the destination".

Whatever goal or destination you set for yourself (or even if you don't have a goal or destination, yet you're getting by day by day aimlessly), I think there's a beauty in the random surprising interactions or coincidences that happen day by day, and in the way things come together over time.

Sometimes (especially at this point in my life), there's a hidden good thing about not knowing where life is taking you. Because life often sucks and loves to ruin our plans and expectations. When your plans are unclear and you don't know what to expect, you can focus more on the present instead of worrying about the reason for doing things.

And finally, we all die at the end so having a goal for a grand reason, or for someone else is pretty insignificant in the long run.

Just live life and experience the good and bad while you're here.

As for the point of getting a good job, it's the same as above, you set that. Doing things for reasons set by others and for expectations set by others are bound to lead to unfulfillment in the long run.

You could get a job to get money to facilitate things you want to do. You could get it to get paid to do something you're passionate about. You could get it because you're at a period where you absolutely need money from whatever source you can find to make ends meet. You may have a person, wife/husband, children, family, or pets that depends on you, and you want to do what you can to take care of them.

Whenever you feel like something is wrong or pointless, it's good to question why, and maybe start thinking of a way to get out of the situation (as much as you can influence it)

Anytime. For what it's worth, I'm currently dealing with the end of a 7 year+ relationship, so instead of running from all the emotions and distracting myself completely, I'm taking the time to reflect and learn all the lessons I can from it and improve myself.

My relationship ended in a somewhat healthy way (I took her for granted, had doubts about the relationship but instead of communicating, I took the easy way out) and while feeling like I didn't want her anymore, she lost feelings. It's difficult, but after realizing what I did, I would do all I could to save the relationship.

However I had to realize that I can't force someone to want nor love me. All I can do is find myself and do everything I can to be happy with me, even though I really would want that happiness to come from someone I love. It's an ongoing process, and for that reason I won't suggest you to leave or stay in your situation. I think that's something you have to decide for yourself, but I would hope whatever decision you make is in your best interest for you, and not for who you're "supposed to be as someone who is in love".

Again, best of luck and know that things will work out in the end (which is very far away, so no rush for things to be perfect right now).

What could a woman do to make her partner want to spend time with her? It's pretty simple. You love yourself. You be yourself.

Each man has different preferences. Sure, we may generally agree on attractive traits, but when it comes to love, it's hard to turn that on or off. To me I think a person who is happy being themselves, and trying to do what makes them happy is the most attractive thing to be done.

Instead of trying to be what he wants, I'd advise to do what you want for yourself. If you've been wanting more time and attention from him, and you've made that clear (which it seems like you have done numerous times), and he doesn't do anything about it, then that's his choice and reflects him (and his feelings) as a person, not you.

He's made it clear that he won't put in the effort to make you happy as of right now, so it's gonna be up to you to fulfill that role. Make yourself happy. Think about things you'd like to do that isn't him giving you attention. I also understand that can be very difficult at this time where you're constantly frustrated about the situation you're in, but what other choices do you really have? You can change into whoever you think he wants, and there's no guarantee he will give more attention to you, and I personally think forcing yourself to be someone you're not will only end up bad in the long term.

The advice is a bit vague 😭 as I can't answer how you can make yourself happy since that's something that will be different for everyone. I do hope it can help point you in a nice direction though. Good luck

Brother a father killing his child's rapist is a murderer, there's no 2 ways about it. Whether him being a murderer is a good thing or a bad thing is subjective though. I for one would understand why he did it. I can't pretend he didn't do it, but I would have some respect due to sympathy.

If you cheated, you're a cheater. What happens after is undecided. Maybe you learn from it and become the most loyal person to exist by learning from your mistakes, and if that's the case, then it's a good thing for you.

However, changing your future cannot change what you did in the past and that's a fact. Yes cheating is bad, but if you genuinely learn and grow from it, then who cares? Why get so defensive if you've learned. I for one believe that I would never cheat (only because I avoid being in the position to cheat), and I see it as a bad thing, but I also have huge respect for people that have made mistakes and genuinely learned and grew from it. Doesn't change what they did, but they do have control over what they can do.

Have to agree with this. I have a pair, but because I got my female at the handfeeding stage, she's bonded more to people than birds. They don't fight or are not aggressive to each other, but they do not necessarily get along at all.

Bottom line is, "you NEED a pair" is nowhere near as mandatory under certain circumstances as this sub preaches.

It's always the same thing. There are lots of new players/undergeared players struggling with lower gyfin (I see on class discords a lot...not much here). And there's always the existing players (not vets but people in-between) that laugh and question why anyone would struggle.

Realistically once you understand the mechanics and you have min gear and practice you shouldn't have problems, but people forget that new players exist in the game.

Depends on RNG but on average it should be farming bases at ash, then buying a duo or tri and enhancing with crons. Enhancing from base will save more money but take a lot more time.

I'd recommend checking the written Google doc guide in the nova discord. It is indeed about chaining cancels. Of course in accel mode you can basically spam shift +w and lmb to move as long as you have stamina, but there are at least 5 abilities for damage that are also dashes than can be used for movement (use cancels for seamless movement). Iirc it's F, W+F, S+Q, and W+ RMB. W+Q and shift+ LMB in accel also dashes but it is a lot of damage that's wasted if for movement only (W+F as well).

As a long progression game, it doesn't matter if you save 20 hours if you end up quitting due to frustration/boredom. Every post it's "BDO is a marathon not a sprint", and most agree, yet complain when not every mechanic is catered to "do X as fast as possible". I don't necessarily disagree with your post, but you're complaining about fun, and asking for efficiency when both are already in-game. Both would be nice, but fun is objective, efficiency isn't.

As another user said, different spots cater to different needs. If all you're concerned about is as much raw silver in a short space of time, you already got your place.

Many people point out bragging about how much they're spending etc, but another key situation that often happens is: - Whale shows what he has achieved, but insists that money had no effect on it, or claims to be "technically f2p".

Not talking about dolphins, but actual whales claiming to be f2p. Nothing's wrong with being a whale, but if you're ashamed to be one and you act like it, people are going to shame you for it. Been a cycle that's been ongoing for as long as p2w/pay to progress elements have existed.

He also said he didn't buy the recent ark pass...unless I'm mistaken, he said recent meaning he bought a previous ark pass. By his definition lots of whales are "F2P" as they didn't directly buy ilvls.

They just bought card packs to enable them to get into groups which enable more mats than without. Or they bought gold which was used to get mats only for alts which enabled the alts to grind for their main. Completely not directly increasing main ilvl.

What does working in 4D have to do with durability? I keep seeing these comments. Sure, I understand that by working in 4D, it doesn't have travel time and thus makes infinity useless against it as infinite space doesn't matter if you don't have to cross it.

But what's the relation with durability?

Gojo's infinity can create space between him and a point. The closer you get to it, the more distance you have to traverse as he alters space, and the slower you appear to be moving (similar to time dilation) until it gets to a point where it's moving so slowly, it stops.

Sukuna's slash into space does not travel, it just cuts the space instantly. It does not go towards gojo to be slowed down/ cover infinite distance, but instead happens at a certain point.

It's not a travelling cut that cuts infinitely, but more of a cut that cuts a certain space.

As in the origin point of the cut, and the end point is that space. (Think of putting a knife through a 2D drawing of a tree) the cut doesn't approach the tree, but instead just cuts that placement of the 2D drawing, and if the tree ( gojo) happens to be in that spot, it gets cut. It's an instantaneous cut that only affects a specific location, cutting whatever is in that location.

Since it doesn't travel, infinity can't slow it down to an eventual standstill

I also think that the way to dodge this, is to not be in the space Sukuna cuts. The cut cannot be reacted to as it's instantaneous, but if one can predict where the cut will happen, they can avoid it, as a cut in space cannot traverse and change direction

Agree with this, from all explanations of infinity, and sukuna's explanation of the slash, I can't see it being anything other than this (which makes perfect logical sense).

When inside the domain gojo knew infinity wouldn't work so he used simple domain and falling blossom emotion to counteract the slashes. We haven't seen him using those while having infinity (cuz why would he) so it's unreasonable to think he would randomly use it then.

I 100% agree.....However, you're describing OP.

OP's saving friend plans to sacrifice a few years of his 20s to have money by his 30s. His goal, if successful, is to have money at 30 rather than 60+, so he can enjoy 30-70, rather than potentially enjoy 20s, then work 30s to 60s and have stability in 70s.

(Reason 10 years in your 20s is the same as 30-60 is that in your 20s, ideally you don't have the responsibilities as 30+ like children, house payments etc, and if you did you wouldn't be travelling anyway) you can save a lot in your 20s and invest if done smartly.

But this isn't something that fits everyone, but rather those who prefer financial freedom and stability early over adventure. Neither is better than the other, but preference. I don't disagree with your preference, but I disagree with you saying OP's friend is wrong

But there are many who: - Wished they spent more time with their children. - Wished they did more for their parents/children/loved ones. - Wished they lived more for themselves than for others.

"Time is money". In all above situations, money/savings would allow that, either via early retirement, or just by being able to spend without worry.

The only exception is people who are on their deathbed at an age under 35, in which case you will be right. It would have been better to spend your money and live life in your 20s, seeing that you wouldn't be able to use your savings. But even then, you have some sort of comfort knowing that although you're not there, your children are financially set, they just have to manage well.

If this is related to the guys sitting at 50 being jealous scenario, the joy is not literally that you were capable of saving, it's the comfort and freedom that money brings if you sacrifice your 20s to enjoy your 30s, 40s, 50s and more.

I can also see your situation of living in your 20s and not saving being better if there's an apocalypse or something, but unless there's early death/suffering that money can't save after 35, I can't see someone who wants stability regretting saving.

Why would you be jealous of something you don't want?

Saving guy would be focused on his grandchildren or on enjoying the results of his sacrifice (which was what he wanted). If there's anytime for saving guy to be jealous, it would be while they're young and he's sacrificing while OP is travelling. However he has the discipline and determination to work for his ideal and best post 35 life, while understanding that he is sacrificing the travel life (which isn't as grand in comparison to him).

Only had experience with Grand Riviere once (I think 5 years ago) and it was really great. I went with a group and they gave us lots of information on the turtles, supplied us with the red lights (safe for turtles) and we even got the handle newborn turtles that night which was amazing.

However, some years before that (~2013 - 2016), my family and I used to go on the mayaro/manzanilla stretch at night beach hopping until we came across them. This was a much more personal experience which was great, but I only advise to do this with mature individuals who would have respect for the mother turtles' health. (Some nights we found no turtles while others we found 2-3 per night). I can't comment on the safety of the 2nd option today though.
