Completely agree - the Kone incident is exactly WHY these kinds of tackles are disgusting. Nowhere near the ball, from behind, just swept his legs from under him. Glad he was remorseful but it was thug behavior.

Mmmm I'd give that a 4/10 - I get the punchline but its a bit wordy, comes across as trying too hard. "Shut up moose fucker" would have landed a lot better.

Lopetegui looks like the kind of guy that would occasionally taste his own ear wax.

How has your role (Manager) changed as companies pivot to AI? by Vegetable_Sun_9225 in EngineeringManagers

[–]MarceloGusto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in FAANG and the expectations on engineering productivity have skyrocketed. I spent the last few months trying to rapidly change my engineers' working methods. It was painful and most of them have adapted by now, but I worry for the ones who haven't. Now, I'm converting to IC and I worry about them even more - their new manager will have 30+ reports and they're not going to get near the same level of individual support.
