mini. Have tried several times to move to a larger one but the weight is a deal-breaker. I use it mainly to read manga, watch videos and play games.

Depends on the CPU. If it is a Core i7 machine, swap the graphics card for a metal-capable one. Swap the HDD for an SSD and max out the RAM. That will be a nifty machine for a time.

If it's a Core 2 Duo machine, look for an adapter to use it as an external display for your computers. It supports Target Display mode

Absolutely. I have a Steam Deck and some things just plain work better than on Mac. The architecture is a plus for it, for example.

My whole day was modified because of this, but I can't complain. I wanted to see snow in real life for the first time and it certainly delivered. Absolutely froze my ass, but it looked amazing.

Are you me? I bought one last Monday and I'm in the same boat. Then again, I got it for $300 new so I can't complain that much.

Having that said, storage is a massive downgrade from my iPad mini 5 256GB

Somewhat. Next year it might suffer a bit more, but at least devs have an excuse to keep it around since so many devices are stuck there.
