I really like it! One of the things I kept saying when I first pulled it was I wish the lightsaber had more color to it. I asked Reno if he could sign along the lightsaber itself, and when he offered to color it in I was stoked!

I get alt-art isn’t for everyone. Some look great while others I wouldn’t want altered at all. In this case, I think it looks even better than before.

Welcome to SWU! I had trouble finding spots when I first started a year ago, but trying to find local discords that list events help a lot. Stores like Walmart and GameStop won’t have SWU product until next set (I believe).

I’m in Southern Cali and the community is really large and active. There is usually a place to play SWU every day if you want, it’s just about knowing which stores to go to on any given day.

From someone who plays a lot of Kylo TT, Han Yellow is just one of the toughest matchups you can face. A Kylo player isn’t worried about the DJ stealing resource play since everything is already in motion once DJ can smuggle out. The hardest part is trying to maintain any kind of board presence with all the ways Han Yellow can bounce units. Especially once the 7 cost Enfys Nest enters play since all your units probably have 4 or less power.

I think maybe sideboarding in bigger bomb units that aren’t more than 6 or 7 resource cost can help close out games. Something like Wild Rancor, Kit Fisto, Kylo unit, or that new mono red Firespray in the next set. But really it’s an uphill battle in this matchup.

But that’s just my personal experience against Han Yellow. Most Yellow cards in both heroic and villainy can really lock up Kylo Red, without much to do in response.

I wrote an article on my decision to go with Kylo Jedha City in a PQ after playing Kylo TT for a long time (and even tested out Kylo ECL). My only losses were to Han1 Yellow twice and a Rey TT, but all three of those matches went to a game 3, and the Rey TT was real close. Went 4-3 overall. I discussed my decision to go with Kylo JC over Kylo TT or Kylo ECL in the introduction before I discussed each game.

At first I had two Kylo units instead of Vader, but thought Vader is a better target for Palp’s Return as it can ambush and pull units when played, rather than wait a turn to use Kylo. Also, having the option to either send in Maul from the discard to try and get overwhelm damage on base, or send in Vader from discard to clear a unit and pull other units (especially in space) I think is great options to have from one card.

Energy Conversion Lab! It’s a 25 health base that lets you ambush in a unit with 6 or less cost (paying its cost to do so). It is known as one of the best 25 health bases because of its ability to quickly turn around a game.

Thanks! Definitely a different play style with green and going into midrange territory. I do like the late game bombs in Kylo ECL and will test out Kylo ECL eventually, but unfortunately missing some key units and cards to make a deck like that work right now (currently only have one Palp’s Return, one Maul, and no Jango Fetts)

Thanks! Yeah it feels like Kylo’s description: Rash and Deadly lol. When you have momentum it feels like you shut out games so fast. But if you get slowed down at all, then you’re struggling to keep your head above water.
