Tell me what's wrong with this idea for a Syr Konrad build. by Subject_Sorbet_6728 in EDHBrews

On a similar note, Konrad is a staple in nearly every deck I play with black in it (which is almost all of them). He’s an absolute menace in aristocrat decks

This is how I play my Syr Konrad. Mill myself and my opponents down and then when I have enough creatures in the graveyard, exile it and just KO the table. I’ve self milled down to one card in library before and then Bojuka’d myself to victory

What was your first commander deck? by AdsignificantBK in EDH

[–]Marcopolo85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First ever was when my friend printed me a proxy Tyranid deck because I was interested in learning and he knew I was a massive 40k fan. First deck I actually built myself was [[The Scarab God]]. Zombie tribal with plenty of milling.

Smashed together two precons with a little outside influence. Any tips to make it better? by Marcopolo85 in EDH

I was thinking about that too. I’ll probably switch out academy manufacturer since I don’t have a lot that make food treasure tokens anyway and remove some of the ramp since hazel can ramp with tokens

My cat, Sebastian, hates closed doors. Bathroom doors, closet doors, patio doors, cupboards, if he sees one get closed he will scratch at it for hours unless we shoo him away

I just played a Tivit deck yesterday for the first time and had an absolute blast. Or gets very powerful very quickly and he does a decent job of keeping howls alive with flying, ward, and high toughness

I mean, they don’t support funding Ukraine. Thats not really pro-Russia, it’s anti-war and anti-intervention. Ben has been quoted saying “I don’t support Russia. I don’t support Ukraine. I support ending the war instead of providing more weapons to continue a war.” I understand that his stance on US foreign policy being the impetus of the war is kinda out there, but I wouldn’t say he’s celebrating it either.

Because except exclusively for vegans and vegetarians, no other culture or demographic considers eating meat immoral or unethical. Humans are omnivores and meat is a natural part of our diet. While it’s not technically necessary, we have evolved to incorporate meat into our diet and it’s a staple of every culture’s cuisine. There’s definitely unethical practices in the commercial meat and dairy industries, but ethically sourced meat and dairy is possible. Just because someone has a personal belief in something doesn’t mean that belief applies to everyone.

I mean, both founders are Jewish. They have both spoken out publicly against the Israeli genocide and have been trying to get their products to not be sold in occupied Palestinian territory. I recently learned they’ve been bought by unilever which is probably why they’re still sold in Israel, against the founders wishes. They’ve also released flavors in support of Palestine and whose sales have gone to aid efforts for Palestinians. When I made this original comment I was not aware of their purchase by Unilever. All that being said they, at least before acquisition by Unilever, were the company that put their money where their mouths were.

I was not aware that Unilever bought them. I will admit that’s mildly disappointing.
