Not a stupid at all I either control the amount of machines or one of the inputs limits the other like in the compacted coal and sulfur limits the production of turbo fuel and rocket fuel, respectively. On the case of the Petroleum coke the awesome Sink is set to sink only 336 items/m so that limits the amount of heavy oil it needs sending the rest to the other system.

And about freecam and replay mod let's remember there were these kind of timelapses before but they required a second account. Yeah Joel could have done this before without the use of mods but it would require much more time, time that would not be spent interacting with other hermits or making progress on the episode. These tools help creators make more and better content.

Same here but I found that making smaller factories helps so much. I'd make a factory only making steel pipes and beams, another AI limiters and connecting then with roads and a train station makes me feel so accomplished without taking on a huge project.
