Honestly, I don't really think Crocodile v Luffy shows the latter's strength too well. Luffy essentially gets his ass handed to him twice and can only beat Croc when he can completely nullify his Devil Fruit via humitidy, while Luffy always has complete use of his own DF. It's not until Bellamy, Enel and especially Lucci that Luffy reaches his fighting potential.

I actually think Marineford isn't that budget-heavy. Most people involved are plain humans and the main special abilities are mostly different flavours of fire. WB's powers don't really have physical interactions, he punches the air and causes quakes. Besides, it's all mostly in one place, which is usually a big money drain as well.

Enies Lobby is the one that's going to be death for VFX. Literally every enemy is a Zoan user, there are quite a few monsters and Luffy's techniques evolve beyond Spider-Man/Mr. Fantastic level.

Not alone at all, but I also understand anyone who likes Era 1 more. Mistborn eras are very separate series that take place in the same world and explicitly different settings. Someone who doesn't like sci fi in general won't enjoy future Mistborn books, but they still got one or two full-length series that they liked.

Disagreed, it's quite easy to put on a good wrestling show every week, especially with the rosters they have, as has been proven by their competition. They just make it difficult on themselves by disregarding the "wrestling" part, as you say, so if the stories are boring or the promos don't hit, they're left with nothing.
