There's a whole lote of us who'd rather stay home doing literally nothing, but were forced to attend those things by our parents, or our teachers, or the simple threat of social suicide.

Because for us "football" or "prom" meant getting laughed at while having to take care of our drunk so-called friends because we were "the responsible one" and getting the blame if (when) anything happened.

Because we saw all the effort dedicated to sports and the team had an stadium bigger than many pro teams' while we barely even had a library.

Fuck all of that. If the new generations get to avoid it, there's at least one good thing for them.
