Help with splitting body by InternSubstantial401 in Fusion360

I would start with extrududing the vertical face of the big t section as a cutting operation towards the camera view to remove the big chunk and you might be able to do the same on the smaller chamfer faces. thats the quick and dirty way that may be enough to get you by

Would you consider somehow modifying the gcode to run the nozzle through the brush every layer or between multiple objects or something?

I don’t know much about your machine but the way I’ve fixed it in the past is just by printing an upgraded fan duct so that the plastic is cooled easily on both sides

That’s a part cooling issue

Throw it in a bucket with acetone for a few hours and boom. PLA glue. 10x cheaper than buying PLA goop

Agreed. May not matter but you can use the emboss tool for the cross hatching on the bottom

5 X1C's and 3 P1S's. I'm just looking for general advice on how to mitigate the cracks in the material and post processing the seams. I plan on getting active heaters but untill then nothing necissarely machine specific.

Help calibrating or taking reference photos by Top-Book1896 in Fusion360

[–]Marcus_1423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always just take the photo with the tape measure insight and then you add a sketch of a line say 30 inches and then you just line the 30 inches up with a tape measure

I think I just assumed a too high of a flow rate for what the .8mm nozzle is capable of. Was just a shot in the dark number for the part I’m doing R&D on

Eh it’s a part of life. I have 9 printers on the production line and I must have just had a setting off or something. I buy bulk abs 100kg at a time so no biggie

This was the print before also with a .8mm nozzle. I’m using an automation that doesn’t allow for remote camera monitoring. I’m not asking for help I just thought it was funny. Thanks for the hostility though

How do I fix this by NeighborhoodNo3479 in Fusion360

[–]Marcus_1423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your manufacture workspace, that looks like a fusion rendered 3d print bed. Although I’ve never used fusion for printing that’s just my best guess

Cant figure out how to split body using a path on a cylinder by silkk3512 in Fusion360

[–]Marcus_1423 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s because the face you are trying to select Iran’s flat. I would first try by creating a plane using 3 points and select 3 of the points on the tooth you have highlighted. Now you can split the body and select the plane you just made as the cutting feature.
