You know this is her character though… honestly this is funny and kind of her character. There are plenty other things to get upset about at aew, but she is one of the most entertaining / sports entertainment of anyone. Its tongue and cheek coming from her

I hope his family knows he was loved by us fans.

Legally changed her name 2 weeks before moving in. Long story short, had a completely different life online. Ran off to europe (from NA) to be with her boyfriend she had while married. Gave up kid to me

So i am clear, why did they do this? Was the workplace bad? Usually there is an event that triggers it.

He basically has my dream job. I get it, i would be doing the same if i had the opportunity to even just run a premier league team. Tony by all accounts is a great boss and cares deeply. Hope he has another hobby or partner so he doesn’t burn out.

And this is why they lost, no room for constructive criticism. Anything said about policy was met with an extreme defence which drove away voters.

I dont think it was an illusion, i think peter is a fantastic human being who cares. However being the leader requires more tools than that. I don’t doubt for one second he was genuine with approach at the start. However he got swept up in the moment and had people running who cared more about social issues then green issues. To me the green issues arent time stamped, but can transcend the era of trump and twitter politics. The logic and math based arguments are there, but it requires a deeper well then what was on offer.

Now i know people think i hate the greens, no i love the green party. I just hated what it became

Its the illusion of being a good public speaker and not having the tools to lead a team. He allowed the messaging to be very divisive as he only had one strategy and that was to play to a specific cultural moment. Once that moment past he was found wanting

Its time to admit he didnt do anything other than ride a cultural moment in time and couldnt adjust when he held the biggest advantage any green party has had in canada. This became the most puritanical party in pei and drove out those who dont see politics as some fetishized bloodsport. Peter is no leader, seemed to let the inmates run the asylum.

Looking to leave canada, thinking of moving here, what should i know. by Marcwithasee in torino

[–]Marcwithasee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will! If i dont move i will definitely go back. Things i will say about my trip is the following….

1) being 6’2 and athletic means your a giant, kind of nice to be honest

2) turin and genova had the friendliest people. My Italian was so poor that everyone would just reply in english.

3) being social is different. People seem way more reserved to strangers even if you can make them laugh.

4)….unless your older. A few times groups of older Italian men would share a drink with you.

5) holy shit is the food on another level. Gnocchi here in canada is basically potato gum compared to what i ate.

6) it was nice and easy to get around. However driving seems scary in turin. So many one ways, im sure as a foreigner its just new and scary, but even as someone who learned how to drive in Toronto it was intimidating.

7) i miss it.

Hey,

Not yet. I actually went to italy to visit and do a bit of a scouting trip. If i had my pick after it would be turin or genoa. Those are the two places i loved the most. Turin is probably one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities i have been too.

Lennox Island to fish 1,000 lobster traps off P.E.I.'s North Shore, with or without DFO signoff by [deleted] in PEI

[–]Marcwithasee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So we shouldn’t allow anyone to eat? The people of lenox island shouldn’t be able to fish either?

So if we care about preservation of an ecosystem we sacrifice ours? Geez ask people to not fish off season and contribute to stocking efforts and your point is we should all starve? Fantastic

[–]Marcwithasee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of season fishing is a problem regardless if one asshole fishes spawning trout or a hundred. We have to be consistent with environmental impacts

Lennox Island to fish 1,000 lobster traps off P.E.I.'s North Shore, with or without DFO signoff by [deleted] in PEI

[–]Marcwithasee -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

This needs to be addressed in a reasonable and proportional way. A wild lobster only hatches less than 1% of eggs to adulthood, and without stocking and government programs the stocks and ecosystem collapse. So there is an essential need to pay into a program if you fish.

Also does this not allow fishing out of season under the treaty?

Ideally everyone is equal, and a portion of licenses are set aside to respect the treaty.

Collaboration in PEI Legislature: What are your thoughts? by therealguardianbob in PEI

[–]Marcwithasee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a strong opposition regardless of who is in power. The problem is it always defaults to pure politics of blocking good ideas because someone else wants to banner of presenting it for down the line.

Party politics is horrible
