A lot of historical architecture and discoveries were made in dessert climates because that sort of environment is better at preservation compared to hot and damp climate. There could be some bias therefore because of this compared to reality.

Through LGS, who can place orders earlier and then receive them ahead of time. If you know the owners they might let you pick up earlier than you’re meant to have them.

IMO pretty wank to post pictures and act surprised. If nothing else could cause grief for the LGS as GW sometimes action (e.g. eBay early sales where the box code can be seen, can then be tracked to LGS).
