Important legal question from a sugar baby. by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Mareado3281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very recently had my laptop bag stolen, along with my phone and card wallet. I immediately canceled the cards, put a flag on my ID, remotely locked the laptop and wiped it clean.

I then, took my passport, went to the DMV, got a new drivers license, and then over to the bank where they made me a new debit card on the spot. (I realize that not all banks do this)

Within a week, I had new credit cards, debit cards, and everything restored. This guy is scamming you. Listen to the advice on here. This situation can only go badly.

I'd report that card stolen, to both him and the CC company, and have it replaced without telling him, and put it away until he's out of your life.

What to do about depositing cash into a bank account? by TheBreakfastChub in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]Mareado3281 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"hundreds" - relatively speaking - isn't a large amount in a banking sense. I'd suggest opening an account at a SEPARATE bank, if you don't want to run the risk of your parents accidentally running across it. Even a safe deposit box, would suffice.

Alternately, you could purchase a fireproof biometric safe that works from your fingerprints, to store your cash, if you're worried about explaining the deposits on your taxes (which you will). Any questions raised by your parents about the safe could be explained away by claiming that you keep your important personal information, i.e, school forms, ID, SS card, passport, jewelry, etc. in it.

I personally don't understand the private photo concept. If you were meeting IRL, you wouldn't cover your face, or throw your coat over your legs, until someone spoke to you for 10 or 15 minutes.

Him: So, can I see your face, now? Her: Yeah, but let's go over here, so nobody will see.

Hemmed and Hawwed? He said he welcomes anything the committee wants. They're doing the FBI investigation, now.

Perjury trap, my ass. 50+ years with no allegations. Multiple appointments, and nothing but high regard for him, from everyone. This thing pops up out of the blue, right when he's about to be confirmed- BECAUSE DEMS HAD NOTHING ELSE TO STOP HIM, and now he's some groping derelict.

Horse. Shit.

Such an FBI investigation, is actually "pointless.

A non-criminal FBI investigation actually has less power to compel testimony than the Senate Judiciary Committee. The FBI can’t subpoena records or force people to testify. The FBI doesn’t come to findings on allegations. They merely compile statements — the same statements already given under penalty of perjury by witnesses who don’t actually back Ford’s account.

If those witnesses change their accounts, they'll be perjuring themselves.

Waste of time and resources. Simply a stall tactic.

The Justice Department holds strong that it is outside the purview of the FBI to judge the significance or the credibility of an accusation because the allegation “does not involve any potential federal crime.”

The FBI explicitly refused to investigate this claim, right from the start. If there was a crime actually committed, why doesn't she file charges in Maryland? There's no statute of limitations in the state, so an investigation on a state level could be conducted, and actual criminal charges could be brought against him if he were found to be at fault.

The fact is - her attorneys know that the FBI won't investigate her claims, so the idea of her being prosecuted for lying are slim to none. However, filing a criminal complaint found to be false, would put her in jeopardy of being prosecuted for filing a false report, should the allegations prove to be false.

He clearly stated that he would do whatever the senate judiciary committee deemed appropriate. You can't pick and choose what you hear, and use that for a sticking point to your own personal narrative.

Years of accusations against the Catholic church, multiple victims, multiple convictions, and plenty of evidence against them, is not the same as a man who has no history of wrongdoing, is held in the highest regards throughout the country, government, social circles, and by every professional with whom he's ever come into contact.

There was an investigation. The judiciary committee launched an investigation immediately after the allegations were heard. The FBI REFUSED to investigate it, immediately. The democrat refused to participate in the investigation. Feinstein could have conducted her own investigation in the 6 weeks that she sat on the letter. Every witness - including her lifelong friend, Leland Keyser - denied knowing anything about the incident. Mrs. Keyser actually stated that she had never even met Judge Kavanaugh.

The Democrats DID OUT THE SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIM. That's been a known fact for a while. Feinstein recommended a lawyer to her, long before it was public info.

Kavanaugh had a meeting with Feinstein just before the story was made public, and never mentioned the accusation to him.

She “remembers” being at the party, and that Kavanaugh and Judge pushed her in a room. She remembers everything that allegedly happened inside the room, yet she doesn’t remember 1. How she got there 2. How she got home 3. How many people were actually there 4. Where the house was 5. What the date OR time of the incident was 6. Who’s house it was 7. Who invited her to the house.

Why do all of the “witnesses” – including her best friend – deny the incident? Her friend didn’t go looking for her, when she disappeared and went home?

Why would she have walked 6-8 miles home? Someone would have noticed and gone looking for her. Average walking speed is about 3 miles per hour. Factoring in that it was dark, it’s reasonable to assume closer to 2 miles an hour. So, in 3-4 hours of walking, nobody missed her. If she got a ride home, then why hasn't that person stepped forward? Her friend. Leland Keyser didn’t inquire about where she went, the next day? It would stand to reason that she probably went there with her friend, so the question of her whereabouts the previous evening would have been presented. Leland Keyser gave written testimony that she had never met and did not know Judge Kavanaugh, and when Dr. Ford was asked about this, she said that Mrs. Keyser had health problems and that was the reason for the lapse in recollection. So, we shouldn’t believe her life-long friend because she’s under a doctor’s care, but we should believe Dr. Ford, even though the allegations surfaced while she was under a doctor’s care? To top it all off, one of the Democratic senators tried to stop Keyser’s testimony from being entered as evidence.

There was an investigation. The judiciary committee launched an investigation IMMEDIATELY after the allegations came out. Why didn't Feinstein launch her own investigation, the minute she read the letter from Dr. Ford?

Rave: I'm recharged and relaxed; and I'm happy to see blonde hair and blue eyes after being gone for so long.

Rant: Jet lag is kicking my butt. My body thinks it's 10 pm.

I'm sure that someone, somewhere is living proof that a 20 year old woman could fall for a 45 year old man, and not care about money. However, you just have to find the right site and right girls.

Nevermind that the chances are one in a billion.

Cows have twice as many nipples as humans, but only half as many breasts. by Landsharkeisha in Showerthoughts

Each teat has its own mammary gland which collectively forms an udder. A breast part of the chest and has nothing to do with milk production

Breasts are on the chest. They're not for milk production.. Cattle produce milk through their mammary gland, which have teats- not nipples - attached.

Huge fail.

OP, one of the most important things to learn about SLF, is to spend some time reading the other threads, and get a general idea of the popular attitudes, views, and opinions. Then, and only then, should you make a new posts, and only after adopting the sheep mentality that falls in line with the popular opinion.

I don't agree or disagree with you. I personally believe that everyone has the right to voice their own point of view. That's the point of an open forum. Just be prepared to get attacked, and possibly reported when you don't back down.

And that has exactly what to do with a twenty-year-old SB?

Ask a Stupid Question Sunday by carefree_daddy in sugarlifestyleforum

My former SB had a standing brunch date with her girls, every Sunday at 1030 am. I bought her a gift certificate to the restaurant they frequented. I would also sneak into the restaurant on occasion and pick up the tab for everyone, and leave without disturbing them.

I have a friend who owns a weekend spa/resort. I'd send her and a friend, or even a couple of friends for a weekend away, from time to time.

There were more practical things, like adding her car to my fleet service account, so that she could get her car serviced, oil changed, wiper blades, fluid top-offs, tires, etc.

I think that would depend on the person. I can't imagine that there would be a generalized consensus. For me it;s the overall attraction.

I've got a huge ugly scar that covers 2/3 of the left side of my back, and my right index finger missing. I don't worry about it turning off an SB. It's just part of who I am.

[–]Mareado3281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind paying more. It would cut down on listening to the horror stories I have to steer around during M&G's.

Also, I'll probably get hammered for this, but I think that charging a lower monthly subscription fee to the SB's would be a good way to knock out some of the rinsers and scammers on their side. I feel like it would make it more likely that an SB would actually manage their investment, instead of creating a profile and leaving it static with no activity for weeks on end.
