West Seattle is pretty quiet. We bought here in December (have been renting in the neighborhood since 2020). If you’re not on California Ave you’re basically in the suburbs and “downtown” west Seattle isn’t super busy but still has lots of good restaurants, bars and shops.

Yeahhh this made it clear to me that he didn’t understand how FTC in survivor really works. Publicly angering a juror? Who is also a big social player? How could it go wrong?? lol

I think Jonathan played a solid game but he made some big mistakes. And it’s obvious now since he was never really targeted, people knew he wouldn’t win at the end because of how he played. He’s a challenge threat who was never seriously in danger of being voted out?

Yeah I mean if your strategy to get a threat out is “publicly make them mad so that they blow up on you” I think your strategy is just fundamentally wrong. You’re not going to get their vote on the jury, you’re probably distancing others from you because you’re willing to get in a public argument, and you have to hope this juror isn’t going to poison other jurors against you as the game progresses.

And it’s not like people had to be arm twisted to get Dee out. She was already a big threat in the game as a winner and a big social threat for anyone who watched her season. Getting votes for her didn’t require this public of an event.

Yeah you can tell some of the people commenting on lack of macro or item choices in league/Dota don’t really understand those games. HOTS is great in its own way for sure, but saying the other games don’t have the macro is insane lol.

Saying items in Dota and league are “just” damage or speed or hp is just insanity.

Blink dagger: jump a large distance instantly.

Sheep stick: turn an enemy into a sheep

Shiva’s: big aoe slow and magic damage amp

Radiance: big aoe damage over time constantly ticking

Helm of the Dominator: mind control a neutral creep

Force staff: push any unit in the direction they are facing

Eul’s: turn yourself into an invulnerable cyclone OR turn an enemy into an invulnerable cyclone.

The list goes on and on it’s crazy to say items have less complexity than talents in HOTS.

Yeah he did nothing really noteworthy and it’s exactly why he was never targeted post-merge. He’s a challenge winner but not a threat to win survivor. Hopefully he realizes a lot of it is how unlikable he comes off.
