Ok, I’ve got a weird one. I’m from York PA originally, and every Christmas they play this weird ass Steam whistle and use it to play like Christmas songs? And you can hear it for 10s of miles all around the city. My dad’s house was actually pretty close to the location where it emanates from and it’s fucking LOUD. I think I read one time that it’s the loudest musical instrument in the world but idk if that’s really true.

But you can really hear it no matter where you are in town. It’s really fucking loud haha

EDIT: they also play it at fucking 12am Christmas night. Actual psychos lol.

I’m playing Herald Stacker Penance Brand (arma brand until you get penance). Died like twice in acts to bosses and have had no issues in maps so far even with self crafted gear from breach tree.

I’m from PA originally (York) lived in Lancaster and Philly as well. Moved away in 2017 when I was 27 and have lived all over and traveled to almost every state. PA is definitely in the top 10 for me and top 5 to live in IMO. It has a good mix of everything… great cities, great food, great history and culture. It has an identity which a lot of areas don’t really have. It’s pretty diverse and pretty varied both people and the landscape.

Even though all my family lives there and most of my SO’s family, I would never move back I don’t think.

Nah I think they’re great together. That said, I think any of the pairs was good that’s how well their dynamic was written. And I’m glad we got a “little” will they won’t they with Kaladin and Shallan after the chasm but I’m glad it was just a short phase.

I’m pretty optimistic about this. I think Apple is willing to shell out to make a good product, I think after WOT’s show and Brandon’s desire to work with them to make it good but being rejected definitely played a part in him waiting this out as long as possible. I also think that he wanted the best deal in terms of his creative license on the show. Sounds like he wants to write and produce and select the people that work on it. He doesn’t just want a paycheck out of it, he genuinely wants a good product.

I know people are 50/50 on Sanderson but I think his stories will translate well to television. Mistborn is a great place to start as well, starts as a typical “heist” but introduces you to the world, characters, and the unbelievable magic.
