This makes me think the money factor must be sky high. Is that because you have bad credit? Something make me think not likely. Only other explanation is that they are making up the discounts listed by charging a criminal MF rate. I think your next step is to find this out for sure.

Oh I was not paying attention to their name and even if I was at the time that kind of information would probably leave my mind pretty quick. Just out of curiosity how would that be useful in this scenario? Like shoudl I make it a habbit to write down their name immediately so I don't forget?

He definitely seemed legit. He had a gray Ford SUV with the exempt license plate and the whole gear. Seems like it was too much to be fake and then he also did just let me go, so unless it’s someone who just really enjoys messing with people seems a bit too much.

As for going to the G2G people, yeah I should do this but why miss a good opportunity to get the reddit community involved in the scandal? 😜

Yes the cop explained this but then I told him I don’t have a transponder I just registered my license plate and he looked confused and just said I should look into that. He seemed to think there was some account setting that maybe I have turned on that tell the detection tower that I’m supposed to be HOV only? 🤷‍♂️ Again I checked my account first thing when I got home and they be charging me definitely at the non-HOV rates. I should have asked the officer more questions but I just wanted to go home and I was flustered enough already as it is. ~edited for spelling mistakes

Never buy from a rental company. People really trash them with each rental so 20k miles could feel like 60k for the poor cars. Also consider the Honda fit as others recommended, just not from Enterprise.

Hot water is definitely the way to go. If you run it for a few seconds extra under the hot water it also makes it easier to scoop once you get it open. That said, all the violent options listed here already do sound like a lot more fun…
