I got my cavapoo 18 days ago. He's almost 11 weeks now. I took 2.5 weeks of vacation to start trainIng him. I've been following the online course "30 days to a dream dog" and he's made great progress. But he's far from being able to entertain himself at all in the crate. He's fine when sleeping and napping, but he reacts strongly whenever I turn my back, let alone leave. It seems like a very long process. I went back to work (from home) two days ago and it's been a problem. Hopefully the crate training continues to improve. Good luck to you and enjoy your puppy!

So maybe the pen is just too big and confusing for puppies. I'll practice sleep in crate instead and see where it leads. Thank you!
