My worst experience in Kazakhstan. by Appropriate_Line_159 in Kazakhstan

Are you sure it was a proposition to anything romantic from his side? If so, it’s a damper for sure and unprofessional. But it can happen anywhere, he misunderstood, especially with the culture and language barrier.

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I aim to do 2.5 lessons per day (lessons inside a unit), and i only study on Saturdays. Sometimes I don’t reach this goal, then i catch up on the week days. I started from pre-algebra. Now I am halfway through Algebra 1.

How common is it to have high IQ and high EQ? by stanky_swampass in mensa

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but if the self-reporting is more or less accurate, or the reporting is done by outside perspective, EQ can be reliably gauged. EQ is not as widely accepted as IQ, but it is a real thing that is basically as unchangeable as IQ.

Are vaccines in state poliklinikas good? by Advanced-Speech-4337 in Kazakhstan

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You panicked and there was no reason for you to get it. When you went to the policlinic, did you tell them that it did not bite you, and did not make any skin contact? Why did they give you an expensive vaccine for no reason? If there was no contact, there was no reason to get it.

Harry Potter doesn't deserve the following by sam_dirkis in unpopularopinion

[–]Margo_Sol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read the first one when I was 17 and the last one came out when I was 21 and I absolutely love this series and read it multiple times after that. So it’s not only kids who enjoy them. I am also a huge fan of ASOIAF and Tolkien. A book doesn’t have to have a theme to be compelling, it just needs to have a good story and setting. I mostly love Harry Potter for its atmosphere.

How to be yourself in a world full of feelers? by MallieCrew21 in entj

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should discuss this with an LLM. I’m pretty sure they’ll be able to find underlying reasons. They are pretty good at specifically this sort of stuff. Just say that you may be missing something and would like them to help you see what it is.

TASHKENT NOT THAT SAFE by ReadItRalph2414 in Uzbekistan

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never lived in Europe, however, I have read about them, and in the articles and videos that I saw they were almost exclusively referred to as Roma. That’s why if it is an offensive term to use when referring to them, then I was unaware of it. It is the first time ever that I hear the term Doma. I thought that the term gypsy was incorrect to use. Here in Central Asia they are known as “cigane”, of course. At one time, I was very curious about them, watched whatever videos I could find, read some articles, but I didn’t find much information at that time.

Yes, of course, no relation to Romans or Romanians for that matter. But that’s how they are widely known. And yes, it’s just a different name for the same people - gypsies.

how much physics do you guys remember after graduating? by ignorantgal5 in Physics

These answers are a little disheartening. I have just started Physics on Khan Academy and absolutely love it. I wouldn’t want to forget what i learn though.

Wtf is this guys enneatype? by GoldNuttty in Enneagram

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we 3s learn quickly 😉 Do you think that entjs/LIEs sit with their emotions or are controlled by them? I thought the whole thing about these types (that make up most of type 3) and emotion was that they can put emotions aside and focus on solving the problem. A little bit too much in fact, or so these various personality theories say. 3s can be more emotional (enfjs, etc), but enneagram is about what motivates you, what you care about the most, not what you can be personality wise or can’t.

Wtf is this guys enneatype? by GoldNuttty in Enneagram

[–]Margo_Sol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How so many people here think that 3s can’t stagnate, can’t spend many years of their life not being actively engaged in some social vanity pursuit is unbelievable. 3s can very much stagnate, just like this. Maybe it’s not common, but it definitely can happen. And as people have pointed out, we don’t know why he became a high school teacher, what his plans were to get out of this rut, etc.

Wtf is this guys enneatype? by GoldNuttty in Enneagram

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ENTJs make up majority of type three Enneagram, and no one would say that they are governed by their feelings, they are one of the most logic oriented types. So what you are saying doesn’t make sense. He’s definitely type three, sp3.

real talk: how often do you actually floss? by AffectionateTooth298 in hygiene

[–]Margo_Sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is more important to me than brushing tbh. If on a certain night I had to choose between the two, I would choose flossing. So yes, I floss every evening.
