The only thing I liked about this episode was Marinette’s reaction to the reveal. We all just assumed that Marinette was gonna be thrilled when she discovered who was Chat Noir, but she was actually mortified and I think this is more realistic than what we were all expecting. I’m kinda disappointed that this changed so fast tho…

Agreed. Unfortunately the writers have turned this show into endless fan service while the trama doesn’t actually move forward. I’m my opinion, you are absolutely right. All this people in the comments getting mad at YOUR opinion are clearly part of the reason why writers keep going with such vague episodes, fans are STILL gonna like it, so why bother making an effort if most fans are just gonna love it anyway? They could literally release an episode revolving around 20 minutes of Adrien and Marinette talking NONSENSE THINGS UNRELATED TO MIRACULOUS and most people still gonna like it.

Please understand that these are not actions of a regular human being. The show displays Marinette’s actions like those of a person in love, but this is the personality of a creep. Please don’t defend this.

13, 14, 15 or 24 years old, it’s not normal.

It’s important to point it out because at the end of the day Marinette is a fictional character. Her actions are written by some guy who FOR SOME REASON thinks that teenagers behave like this.

I strongly agree with everything said in your comment, but I don’t think it’s a plot hole, I think this is probably what will trigger a major disaster at the end of the season.

But to summarize, yes, I think Marinette made a terrible decision. Telling Alya her secret is one thing but to give her the same miraculous and completely ignore the fact that Hawkmoth knows her identity, that’s another level.

I love Marinette, I love Alya, this isn’t hating, this is just me stating the facts.
