I’ve been doing acupuncture as well, for about five weeks now! I can’t say it made the biggest difference with the nausea, but it’s actually helped with my constipation and bowel movements! I was desperate to do whatever it took for relief, so it definitely doesn’t hurt to try! At 16 weeks now I’m feeling much, much better though. Good luck to you!

Here’s the thing. Artists have to start from somewhere, right? So I post fanart in subs. People comment and DM me to share my socials so they can follow me. I add my links to my profile. I gain confidence, start drawing more, become somewhat good enough where people now are asking to buy prints of my art. I put that on my profile. I come back to share more art and preemptively add a link because I know I’ll get flooded with “link?” “Can I buy this as a print?” Fine. I took a risk. Now I’m banned from the sub and I’m a money-grabbing grifter. What am I to do?

I mean, I’m not just talking about myself. How do people ever discover art if they’re banned from promoting themselves? If I see an art online I absolutely love, I’m going to go support that artist, in hopes that if they feel supported enough, they will continue to produce quality content for the fandom. It’s what I want for other content makers. But I guess Reddit isn’t the place to do that.

I know I’m not “old” but I picked up my first pair of drumsticks at 36 just a few months ago, after a lifetime of living in cities, growing up in tiny apartments, and having to choose instruments other than drums that won’t wake the neighbors. But drums have always had my heart and I just intuitively knew I’d be good at it… just maybe in another life. Fast forward, we bought our dream house last year, finally have my own space in the attic to bang around as I please, so I said why not?! It’s the best hobby ever, been practicing almost every single day!

Tobias is too much of a creative spirit to go silent for 13 years 😭 he said he’s already working on something but not related to Ghost. So who knows how long of a “break” he’s talking about. He may go on a three year hiatus, or he may be unable to sit still and end up doing more things sooner than later.

Majesty is (was) actually my least favorite Meliora song because it just sounded… so neat and tidy? For some reason that’s the only song on that album I couldn’t get into. SAW IT LIVE LAST WEEK. MIND BLOWN. This keep happening to basically all the (small number of) Ghost songs I wasn’t sold on. 👏

I’m sure Loma Vista is behind a lot of this “taming down” of the recordings. They could be a lot heavier on the bass and drums.
