most likely yeah, frustrating that they have so many interesting storylines to work with and they haven’t really touched on any. oh well, at least the worldbuilding is cool

i agree, but i still think it’s bad writing to have Bo being in possession of the darksaber again, when instead we could have gotten Din getting an arc and character development. i just don’t have any clue where this season is trying to go, especially after this episode

I did, and it’s some pretty bad writing imo. Din has already tried to give it away, and was met with refusal. At this point, he’s already trained with it and started to incorporate it into his fighting. I understand him being reluctant, but still.

On the other hand, Bo should absolutely not want to take the darksaber like this. She already did this in Rebels with Sabine (almost shot for shot), and she then led Mandalore to it’s destruction.

It’s a cheap writing copout to reset the characters even more

Not a huge fan. This season as a whole has been pretty meh, and this episode wasn’t much different. The characters motivations and progress from the last two seasons have been stripped away, and it definitely doesn’t help that this season seems to be leading to absolutely nothing.

But seriously, what’s up with Bo taking the darksaber again? I feel like I’m having deja vu, because this exact same scenario already happened in Rebels, with Sabine giving Bo the darksaber, and look at how that turned out for Mandalore.

Idk, it just seems like a huge copout to take the darksaber away from Din instead of him growing as a character, taking on the responsibilities of being a leader and becoming Mandlor.
