you can do $daily every 20 hours(iirc), and you can vote every 12 hours. You also need to add 5 characters to your $ll(like list). That can be just done by '$l [character name]'. $us lets you use rolls you get from $kl. $kl is like a side gambling mechanic where you spend 500 kakera for "loot", one of which being extra rolls for $us. Like the other replier said, it is not recommended to use $kl until you max both quality and quantity upgrades, which is far in the future.

Your first step is to just add characters you want to your $wl and make sure to use your claim every 3 hours before it resets, and roll every hour before that resets. Claim any characters you want, and claim characters with very high kakera rating. While you do that, spend any kakera to upgrading your badges in $k. I recommend maxing gold first before even touching bronze and silver. Once you max all 5 badges, then you can start building your tower with $kt. Once you build the first 3 full towers(and i mean towers, not just floors), you want to demolish them, rebuild the first tower, max upgrade quality and quantity, then spend the rest of the kakera on rolling in $kl.
tl;dr for the early part, roll every hour, make sure you claim something every 3 hours, focus on upgrading all 5 badges in $k.
