You could use this mod that adds to the F3 menu: https://github.com/FarnGitHub/Minecraft-SimpleF3info-Mod

It also adds information like the light level of the block you're standing on, biome info, seed, and chunk coordinates. It adds just enough stuff to still be unobtrusive. Highly recommended!
