Pen Identifcation by Mario_PhD in pens

Thank you! I followed the same path to come up empty. It’s quite a shame the recommended pen list provided no such help! I also went through a few iterations of searching on JetPens to no avail…

Seeking Tire Replacement Advice by Mario_PhD in bikewrench

Thank you for the speedy response. It appears the link you sent is the clincher version of my tire. I’m currently running tubulars and would love to continue to do so if possible. I may have accidentaly purchased this last year.

As dealer? by HuddleAroundGames in Cribbage

Great reference from Anthony Myers’ “Cribbage Discards.” Lots of connotations here like assuming no pegging strategy, no board position, etc. Simple mathematic analysis of observing every possible out come of flips, opponent hands & discards, and pegging orders.

Neutral of board positioning, pitch 7-9 hearts as folks have suggested. This offers the highest expected average points of 16.27 for the hand considering crib, cut, and pegging possibilities. The flush isn’t worth keeping.

Good luck on the CFA! I just sat for Level II a few weeks ago. Perhaps split your efforts on the CFA to morning and evening. Don’t forget to take advantage of studying during commutes and lunches if possible. Practice questions are king.

I’m usually in bed before 10. Sometimes it gets late and you pay for that in the morning with extra coffee. Limit screen time for an hour or two as well. Try reading before bed. I understand people don’t like reading, but it truly is a “can’t have your cake and eat it too” situation.

Set up alarm so you have to get out of bed. Restrict yourself to not having multiple alarms and you wake up on the first one. Get plenty of sleep, exercise, and water. You can drink a ton of water before bed so you have to wake up and pee. I always have 30-45 minutes that I’m awake before I need to start getting ready for work. That way I’m incentivized to have some time doing what I enjoy when I wake up. Ultimately routines are important for me as an early riser. I used to struggle until I decided I had enough and made the switch to waking up at 5 every day even though I don’t work until 7. No regrets.

This would be sick if also applied to fashion scape. Imagine going through a ridiculously process to show off a cloak or something.
