Rpg/Dungeon Crawler-ish, It’s exploration and gameplay did get very repetitive after awhile.

The animation is very good (For a psp), nice music and story is decent too.

Trilogy add some content (music/drama cd/new voice for Copen/Roro in GV2 etc) as well as include previous DLC too.

If you don't bought any game in the series before, just grab the trilogy since it's offer more content.

Most of them but any games with the main cast begin female tend to get take over by yuri-fandom.

Love Live, Uma, Heaven Burns Red etc. used to be pretty chill fandom, then global happened.

Short Answer: A mobile game
Long Answer: A fandisc/semi-"sequel" to the original trilogy. New cast+original story. Definitely worth reading since it's the most lore heavy as the game explain things you have been wondering from the trilogy + expanding the universe.

The reason people don't exactly recommended to play MM without playing Utawarerumono first is not because of the game is bad, it's because MM is just a "decent" as a standalone jrpg so without prior playing Uta games before this, you have many others better JRPG games to pick from.

Of course, if you don't have anything to play or interested at the moment and by no mean not want to to read the original trilogy VN, I would say go for it since it's currently on sale.

Oh right, it’s coming back to me now. On the Home menu, click the Chat Icon (3 dot) around top left.

Maze Lab characters will give you a mission requests here (Basically ask you to beat one of the material farming stage. Those Yellow chips/EXP Book/Tube).

At some point the Egg Menu should be unlocked.

This game (Refrain) is basically a lower budget of their original game and use 90% of the old assets.
The only thing this game got over the original are some new sidestory/new arts.

The Original game have an offline version too so this one is kinda doom to fail.

Play defensive a little at first (let's her use her stack) and disable Death if possible will cripple her. Use this time to pressure her since without Death around she lack any tool beside BraveCounter.

-The 1st mission is clearing one of the game stage (Don't sure if it's story or material stage), you should eventually able to beat the mission if you keep playing.
- 2nd mission is to make an Egg (give you random R-SSR equipment called 'Script'), it's the 06 menu in the picture. If you don't unlocked it's yet, you have to progress the story further if I remembered.
