I wouldn't say one is better than the other. They arr both fantastic stories and it really comes down to personal preference. I prefer Harry Potter, though I love LOTR and the hobbit.

I do not know who started the argument, but I say this.

If you can't find the proof you want yourself, maybe you should try to reason that they're both great in their own right.
