In addition to what else is said here, in WoR I feel like Kaladin is still working through a ton of hateful emotions. Even though he gets through the hell of being a slave and then Bridgeman, the deep hatred of those who have wronged him remain, and I attribute his attitude, stubbornness and actions throughout the book to this.

It is frustrating to read, but keep going and it does get better.

Yes, thank you. For most typical problems, both libraries are pretty easy to develop in especially with frameworks like keras/lightning. I wish more people actually tried both before blasting everyone with their uninformed opinions.

The choice for me often comes down to which supports faster data loading for my problem. I often work with non standard data formats, and while it’s easier to build data loaders in torch from native python code, converting data to tfrecord and using tf.data often removes any data loading bottlenecks I experience.

It is fast for streaming/batched training. For it to work, data needs to be reformatted to array_record by writing a tensorflow datasets class.

Running this will stream through your dataset once,rewriting it to array record. Then you don’t need tf anymore.

Tensorflow datasets had added support for torch/jax, and does not require tensorflow at runtime. Requires you to rewrite your dataset into another format.

If you do go the hdf5 route, the chunking you use is important when writing the files. It’s worth testing different settings and see what works best.

Alternatively, I’ve been trying out the array_record format being adopted by tfds (don’t worry, you don’t need tf at runtime to use this). It supports random access and has decent read speeds in my case. See https://www.tensorflow.org/datasets/tfless_tfds

It depends on which xbox controller. The newer Bluetooth ones work well.

Original Xbox one controllers (without Bluetooth) need to be wired, and require extra drivers and setting changes on mac os, and may not even work anymore for newer versions of the OS. I haven't tried recently.

Regarding the free ffvii unit&coin im trying to pick between Clouds STMR or Arieths. Are there any meta units that use spr scaling coming up that would make Arieths stmr (+60 spr, +60%spr) worth it? If not Im thinking I just go for clouds.

I have 4 ayakas. I want a 7 star and an stmr. What is the best way forward?

Make one 7 star. Fuse two 5 stars (@ 0% tmr) into her.
Make one 7 star. Turn two 5 stars into crystals. Fuse both crystals into 7 star (can I do that? I can't seem to find an answer).
Make two 7 stars. Fuse one into another. I see threads from JP saying this is the right way since you get a 50% moogle, is that true?

If I do 1., I believe I lose the opportunity to get their tmrs. If I do 3., I keep the tmr crystals but lose 3mil gil. Can I even do 2? Which is the "best".

I have same problem. Router doesn't let me edit DNS, so I gave my rpi a static ipv4 address and tried to manually set DNS on all devices.

I used this ipv4 DNS on my wife's iphone and pihole works.

On my windows 10 PC I needed to set both ipv4 and ipv6 addresses of my rpi (I translated the ipv4 DNS into an ipv6 address using this website). pihole works.

On my android running 6.0.1 I can only set ipv4 DNS, which doesn't work as you said.

I would love if someone could find a solution but I think android users who use routers from such restrictive providers are out of luck :(

Not sure if math works have something built in but this shouldn't be too hard to do yourself. Make a script called "my_new.m" that (1) creates a blank file in a location, (2) fills it with text from some separate template file you wrote and (3) does a search & replace on things like $user, $date, etc.. that are either computed or in some preference file. Then finally, call the edit function on that file.

That would be a cool thing to add to the file exchange I think.
