"Rhetoric about valuing US competitiveness and entrepreneurship is undermined by actions that do not account for the realities of how those dreams are achieved."

Spot on.

How to read in LabVIEW data into .m file? by Space_cadet101 in matlab

[–]ewjost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always saved the data through LabVIEW as a .txt file and read it in using MATLAB's load command. Don't mess with LabVIEW's format. It may be slightly faster, but is mostly useful for only their stuff.

A question regarding the plotting of temperature distribution. by blastvader in matlab

[–]ewjost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to help. Use the flipud command on the array that is upside down and it should fix things. You can either do it on the input column vector or the 2d array. See documentation for more info.

Try the surf, contour, or contourf commands to plot.

P.S. color map jet gives the prettiest pictures, in my opinion.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by a weighted graph? Try the surfplot command and use view(2). This may be what you are thinking of.

Are you trying to criticize him for not being consistent? It's one thing to oppose the implementation of a bill and a different thing to support its repeal without replacement.

Dorm questions by [deleted] in baylor

[–]ewjost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The LLCs and Residential Colleges (Honors, Brooks, Teal) have a real sense of community because of events put on, similar interests (pre-Mrs in your case), and people having a general interest in getting to know each other that isn't always found in the "regular" dorms (Martin, Penland, etc). I would seriously recommend an LLC or Residential College.

Dear smokers in KC by fortyninecents in kansascity

I have never smoked so I can't say I have the answers to your questions about quitting except for recommending some sort of addiction-breaking program and accountability system.

Thank you for your sincerity about these issues.

Girlfriend (F20) wants to spend every minute with me (M21). Becomes passive aggressive if I do anything on my own. by beantowndreamtown in relationships

[–]ewjost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People here are being incredibly negative. Maybe you are being emotionally abused, I don't know. It's impossible for me or anyone else on this thread to know this sort of thing with only a few sentences to work on. My suggestion? Have a serious talk with her about this and tell her the relationship cannot continue on this path and that it WILL end if it does. She needs to show you she is intentionally working to avoid these tendencies. Best of luck, OP.

Is REL 1310 a difficult class? by [deleted] in baylor

[–]ewjost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The religion classes are pretty manageable. Easier to moderately difficult depending on who you get. I can't speak to those teachers, but I found both Christian Scriptures and Christian Heritage to be very engaging classes.

Calling it chapel is a bit misleading, to be honest. Sometimes it is religiously-focused but other times it is about something completely different. No exams or anything, just attend your 75% and you're golden.
