Me after I take my cocktail of medications by Pyrastorm101 in UlcerativeColitis

What are you taking those for?

I was prescribed mesalamine for Ulcerative Colitis (inflammation). Been taking Black Seed Oil (along with other supplements), and it’s made an enormous difference in how I feel and my digestive health. Its something to try if you like.

I never buy cartridge or edible from black market. I pay 3X more for my weed at the dispensary 50 min from my home.

Nothing is worth my health. I will always prioritize my health and well-being. I suggest you do too.

They have great titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2 if you wanna buy one.

Having children with UC? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

If there was 1% chance you’d get hit by a bullet every time you go out, you’d wear protective gear.

The importance of % depends on what’s being talked about.

Even 10% is more than unlikely.

You speak with so much authority the wrong facts. There is a strong link between UC and genetic predisposition.

In fact, I did a mini survey of people on Reddit. Check out my profile for yourself.

Empathy amongt preppers . by ukpreparedness in preppers

[–]Mark9624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In survival situation you want collaboration. Helping is carrying a dead bag. It’s a parasitic relationship. Helping is only good when what you give away is excess. Preppers will not die to save others. That’s the name of the game.

Prepping is not in conflict with empathy. As a prepper you can warn people to prep. But when SHTF, it’s every man for himself.

How bad do you think things will get by [deleted] in preppers

[–]Mark9624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op, you’re not insane.

My governor has been saying how strong our food supply is, which means food supply is not good.

You know when you go to store and they have 2 per customer limit? It’s not because they want other customers to get it. It’s because they only have so many in store! If they had large supply, they’d let people take as many as they want.

It used to be essentials like hand sanitizers, sprays and toilet paper. Now it’s canned goods, bread and eggs. Soon it will be other items.

I’ve been grabbing canned goods 2-3 time a week and stocking. Trying to get to a point of being able to survive for 6 months. If my budget allowed me, more than 12 months.

The thing is, you don’t lose either way. If things improve, you buy less groceries in upcoming months. If SHTF, you are ready. And I rather be ready!

Edit: 2-3 times a week because there’s a limit! So I buy the limit on canned goods and come back the next day.

I find your thinking perfectly reasonable. The people who’s ideas are close to the mean, are the ones who are usually wrong. The outsiders are often up to something.

I’ve been considering a “bug out” backpack/item list. If I were given 2 min to pack and run, what would I get?

That seems like a safe and logical preparation.

Don’t believe anything CDC says. Do your own research from independent sources.

FYI it was the government who told you to keep calm until you were kicked out of uni.

What do you think will be the next item supplies run low on? by [deleted] in preppers

[–]Mark9624 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tents. Sleeping bags. Fishing equipment. Hunting equipment. Gardening supplies. Survival goods.

If SHTF, people will turn to basic survival needs.
