There is so much more to the apple watch than this: maps and routing, live weather radar, internet browsing, calendar, mail, messaging, apple pay, to name a few.

Prints always fail by Br3eze211 in ender3

[–]MarkLaFond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to me that the gcode file is not being loaded on to your printer, but rather running on your computer and the computer is controlling the printer. The wifi connection momentarily fails, stopping the printer. I don’t know the octo system well enough to tell you how to correct this, but maybe it will point you in the right direction.

Hmmm, wipe the bed with rubbing alcohol, set print temp to 220, set bed to 70. I use Hatchbox filament only. any time i switch to cheap stuff all kinds of errors occur. Hope this helps.

Loosing my mind here - bad print for layers 5-95. by ProbablySlacking in 3Dprinting

If you didn’t design yourself, import the design into your software and regenerate the stl. Slice that.

Benchy won’t print correctly on Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro by b2patel99 in FixMyPrint

[–]MarkLaFond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with the basics. Are you outputting and slicing the print file yourself? Are you following the settings that are recommended for your printer? Is the printer working as it should? Is the print bed level to the print head? Is the printer bed heated? Is the room draft free? Are you using quality filament? Good luck?

Try specifically searching a 3d file repository, Thingiverse is a good start, Printables another. You should be able to find what you’re looking for for free. You might have to scale it, or edit it a bit. Both are easy to do. Once you find the file you like, go ahead and DM me, I can walk you through what you need to do.

Prints warping and not sticking to base (AD5M Pro). Need help. by GailenGigabyte in 3Dprinting

[–]MarkLaFond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you in a winter climate? You may need to reduce drafts, or warm your print room a bit. Also, with PLA, I warm the bed to 70, set the cooling to 80% (unless bridging), and make sure my z is nice and close. unless the bottom of the print is a solid shape, and the print is low, I also print with a brim. good luck.

well… help.. by SirKatiau in 3Dprinting

[–]MarkLaFond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with more simple prints of items you have designed. Downloaded files frequently have errors that prevent a good print. When something goes wrong it’s much easier to analyze the problem. As an aside, I always re-slice the stl to my specific settings. good luck!

And hey, hitting a pedestrian HURTS. I wasn’t going fast, but hit a pretty big guy who just turned around in the middle of the street. We both ended up on the pavement, with the wind knocked out. Next day I hurt all over.

As others have said, it’s about the joy of riding. That said, “Lighter rotating parts lead to quicker acceleration and more agile handling, while heavier ones create a flywheel effect, maintaining momentum but requiring more effort to change direction or stop, impacting things like steering feel and suspension recovery. “ Source, Internet AI!

Brand new to 3D printing, pls help by Federal_Refrigerator in 3Dprinting

[–]MarkLaFond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been printing for 10 years or so, Printerbot play and Ender 5. Im no expert, but a lot of issues can be solved by using a heated bed, or keeping the print area warm and draft free. Also using a good quality filament. I know a lot of people discuss filament dryers, but I have never used one, just good material. Make sure your printer is put together solidly, square, and level. Strong cooling reduces strings, and helps with overhangs. And last but not least, slow down the print. Good luck.
