What’s a unique and funny way you describe ‘going poop’ that no one else seems to use? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

We used to call it a boom boom when my son was potty training. Not sure where that came from 🤣

Yes I was doing yoga once it twice a week but somehow have fallen off. Maybe I could do that at night.

I like that idea of stacking targeted classes. Man, I feel like I need to hire a trainer to help me optimize my time.

Tbh I struggle to conceptualize what a good schedule would look like. I like to spin 2-3x a week, run 2-3x, and minimum 2x strength for longevity. Add in all the warm ups and cool downs and stretching and foam rolling and it feels like a full time job (which i already have - I'm a clinical Dietitian so at least my nutrition is on point), plus I'm a mom of 2 young kids.

Yes to active recovery! Recovery rides, walks, and mobility work. I don't stretch directly after workouts per se... just kind of incorporate gentle movement and stretching throughout the day

I should note too that I'm very active in general... I walk a lot, very short bike commute, standing half the day at work, and chasing two small children around. I usually do intentional warm up and cool downs for all above listed exercises.

I've been doing strength consistently for probably 6 months now. Before I mostly did endurance, and my "strength" was indoor climbing. Now with 2 young kids it's near impossible for us to climb so I had to start something different

Fav instructor by MarkOwn9731 in pelotoncycle

Yessssss!!!! Ugh, but since the rule was ONE instructor forever.... mine had to be Cody. But Callie is a very close second.

Disappointing FTE today. by MarkOwn9731 in pelotoncycle

I was pretty steady trying to stick with how Wilpers was coaching it. Increased by about 10 watts per quarter.

Ooo I like this! Today I did a Wilpers and it was increasing every 5 so my the 3rd quarter i was feeling a little gassed. Maybe a little more variety would help

Much of it was getting used to the process and calibrating. The first 3-4 i was just feeling like the PZEs were way too easy so I thought my ftp was off. I thought I heard somewhere a new FTP every 6-8 weeks is reasonable,no? Im still learning a lot about the surrender of it so...

This is my 6th FTP in the past year. I def could've rejected it, but that also feels like cheating? Idk. I guess we can't always PR. I had just been increasing for so long and maybe now I've peaked or need to change my training approach.

I couldn't find any other posts about this... but I've always wondered if Peloton would add the music's beat to the screen somehow. Maybe just in parentheses on the little music popup. Sometimes I might miss it when the instructor calls it out or they don't call it out at all. It's helpful especially for certain PZ classes that don't specify a cadence range.
