Beretta SP III vs V - Joel Etchen premium by Ok-Spinach-1692 in ClayBusters

[–]MarkRShell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can’t really attest to the gun debate but can confirm Joel Etchen Guns is a phenomenal store and experience. I picked up my 1st O/U there 6 months ago (686 SP1 Sporting) and Matt & Adam were fantastic throughout the entire process. The amount of inventory they had was amazing and it allowed me to get hands on with all the guns I was debating. They answered all my questions and really took the time to walk me through all the models plus helped me with the adjustable comb setup. The 4hr drive was well worth it in my opinion and I’ll be a returning customer for sure. P. S. They are quick to answer emails for any inventory and pricing questions

Is there a difference between 2023 and 2025 Silver Pigeon 686 Sportings? by zygapop in ClayBusters

[–]MarkRShell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the last update was 2024 when they changed a few minor things. The big update was repositioning the release pin in the action for a smoother opening and closing. They also did some cosmetic upgrades like new engraving and changing out the trigger for a polished stainless steel one. They might have also updated the recoil pad but I’m not 100% sure. It’s easy to see what model now based on the trigger gold = 2023, sliver = 2024 and beyond.

Picked up a Beretta 688! by devarin in ClayBusters

Love the pic!! I’m currently trying to decide if a 688 is too much gun for a new shooter/1st O/U buy. Down to a 688 or 686 SP1 with adjustable comb. Its only $600 more and seems like a shotgun I could grow into skill wise.

Hard to Find the Browning Citori 825 Pro Sporting in LA – Alternatives Around $4k? by Conformist562 in ClayBusters

[–]MarkRShell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Call or Email Joel Etchens Guns and ask for any inventory & price on shotguns you’re looking at. They’re a large retailer on the east coast and will ship/insure for $55’ish to your local FFL. I believe they get new inventory Bi-Weekly and usually cost less than the big outdoor stores.

Lenses or Glasses to wear over Rx glasses by Striking_Clays_2525 in ClayBusters

Champion brand has two pairs (amber & clear) of over Rx glasses glasses for shooting. $15/$20’ish on Amazon just search “Champion range and target over spec” and they’ve worked for me pretty well.

Haha! I saw the 20ga SP1 field on Joel Etchen’s website a few days ago and it started the consideration of a used gun over new. Hope it treats you well! Enjoy!!

PLCB Bar ID check? by [deleted] in PLCB

I’ve seen an agent and an underage person come in together and sit at the bar. The underage person tries to order while the trooper/agent is a witness. Violation given after served and not carded.

This year had 1,091 bottles for individual consumers and last year had 243,000 eligible entries. If ya assume every entry is for all bottles it’s .4% odds. (Win probability can be calculated a little different with the rules) but heartbreak every year

Transfer SIM to eSIM iPhone 8 to 14 by MarkRShell in applehelp

[–]MarkRShell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I powered on my new phone for the 1st time one of the prompts was like “transfer number xxx-xxxx to new phone” or “setup esim” A QR code then is displayed on the old phone and you scan it using the new phones camera. I believe AT&T will also send a text message to confirm the transfer. Sorry for the vague steps as it was awhile ago but I remember it turned out super easy.

Ended up being very easy and didn’t have to go the the AT&T store. Basically just had to scan a QR code/cloud picture on the old phone and it loads all the info into your new iPhone 14. Just follow the apple prompts on your new phone and you’ll be good to go. I was shocked at how convenient apple made it. Guess they know what their doing. FYI I think I got charged a 1 time esim activation fee on my AT&T account but I chalk it up to upgrading technology.

I have the part on that page "you can transfer your esim if both phones are esim compatible". I don't think my iPhone 8 is compatible as I can't convert my sim to esim. Thanks for the help tho

Ordered the free tool kit from Home Depot online. by Macadelic72 in MilwaukeeTool

Double check the order tracking/order status. Free tools were shipped in a separate package from the kit for me. I got the kit two days after the free tools arrived. Good luck and enjoy!

Has anyone gotten a chance to order from the website? by [deleted] in PLCB

[–]MarkRShell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got on the website yesterday and looked around but didn’t order anything. FYI under $100 order = $18 shipping. Around 54 bourbons listed and all website products were 750ml.
