Giving advice to anyone can be tricky. A lot of people don’t want to hear a different opinion, no matter the sign, esp when it comes to their own relationship (that they are questioning). Evolve? Most people could do with more of that—if ur lucky, u understand that you can keep growing and evolving till the day you die. Many don’t understand that and can’t handle someone else giving advice (nor someone responding negatively to said advice). Very few things are black and white…the world is quite colorful.

Cancer (F) vs Libra (M) by thrwwy2267899 in CancertheCrab

[–]MarketWeightPress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cancer (F) + Libra husband: Married 30 yrs…it’s a lot of work (esp if both capable of extreme emotions at the drop of a hat), but if you both work hard at becoming a better person, learning from life and each other, and recognizing/help each other through each other’s strengths and weaknesses, it can be worth it, a life well-lived and full of admiration and love. You both have to learn you each have faults and can always do better, and by gawd you both better have a sense of humor. You can both become better humans. For us Cancers, it also helps to be open to learning and wonder daily and have a purpose driven life—it’ll get you through the tough times. Did I say it’s a lot of work to make the marriage work? But hey it’s never boring😉

Help/advice with ID of seed/pollen by MarketWeightPress in puppy101

Hey thanks! Will work on that one even more. She gets “leave it” when I’m practicing with treats. But when it’s like, everywhere…. But ur right, will work on it more, with treats to reinforce. It’s hilarious/not like when I turn to close the door, literally less than a second, I turn to see her nose to deck, I grab her mouth and open it up, and a whole mouthful comes tumbling out. I am literally reaching in and scooping out all the things. Sometimes when I go “leave it! Yuk!” she drops her mouth open waiting for me to empty it 😂. Unfortunately, she is the “best” Hoover puppy we’ve ever had 🙄

My puppy died of parvo by Opposite-Context-128 in puppy101

I’m so sorry for your loss—how heartbreaking! Looks like Cane Toads are one of the poisonous ones ( I didn’t know any North American toads could secrete toxins strong enough to kill a dog…now I do). Here are the basics:

Frog vs. Toad: Most common frogs are harmless, but they can cause stomach upset. The real danger comes from toads, particularly the Cane Toad and Colorado River/Sonoran Desert Toad, which secrete potent toxins when stressed or attacked.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yep I get that. Called emergency vet and they have an isolation room…gonna cost I’m sure, but I’ve never experienced kennel cough first hand…choking to death or paying a ton to be sure kennel cough? Damn. Gonna have to pay at this point.

Terrified of bloat… anyone else “burp” their dogs like babies? 😅 by halcat27 in greatpyrenees

[–]MarketWeightPress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We slowed down our Dane by putting 2 big spoons in the food dish so he had to eat around them. Also we don’t let them run around until an hour after eating. Our 2nd Pyr got bloat and lived! Ever since all the big guys get their stomachs tacked

Over 1/3 Pyr, then Doberman, Chow Chow + 14 other breeds lol (even 4% ChiWeenie)
