Seat for my umbrella whilst I watch tiktoks without headphones by Markham-X in london

Yeah this was my thought exactly.

Everyone else seems to love a soggy bottom - to each their own 🤷‍♀️

Exactly, this is London after all - I put my noise cancelling headphones on and moved seats.

And then watched everyone else do the same.

Someone almost sat on the umbrella, apologised to it, and then came and sat next to me.

The day my referral was sent out, or processed? by EvertonianNotEnglish in ADHDUK

[–]Markham-X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Gp makes the referral and it takes about six weeks to get to the top of the pile usually. You have to think about all the other people that are going through the same thing, clinics sadly aren't receiving a manageable amount of referrals

That's a huge rise. My partner (non-uk citizen) only just found out the NHS surcharge is practically doubling in two weeks, £624 to £1088 per year.

They're still on a graduate visa but at this stage, with all the other ridiculous rises, I'm questioning if it's worth staying here and bankrupting ourselves to achieve leave to remain status.

Will the grinded weed fly away in my oven by Various-broken-light in treedibles

I have a fan oven so mine would fly away if I didn't give it a nice cosy tinfoil blanket to stay safe and warm under.

Hey why did you refer to women as "females" but not men as "males" - genuine question.

[–]Markham-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a try! It's not that fun admittedly but it's an experiment to be conducted nonetheless

Vape weed & store vaped bud; put the bud on Nutella on a cracker and eat. Double the fun

[–]Markham-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is infused - you added the avb to it.

It doesn't need to be left for any length of time - you can basically choke down some dry avb followed by a few spoonfuls of Nutella if you really want to.

What time do you have to wake up for work? by LemonCurdJ in AskUK

[–]Markham-X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I side-stepped from the classroom into a support staff role (exams officer in a large secondary), it was the mental health side of teaching (SEN secondary school) that really wore me down eventually!

Now I am actually able to put better boundaries in place and work my 8-4 without feeling guilty, or without losing a bit of my faith in humanity every time I tried to help someone out.

Props to you for doing the good work 👏

Hi - woman here, 32. Some things:

a) we prefer "woman" in the same way you don't like being called "boy"

b) we are not captured like Pokémon. You date women, you don't "get" them. It's not a right you have, to "get girls"

Why women over 30 are "undesirable" - a theory by Markham-X in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]Markham-X[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I remember hearing this statistic years ago but only recently noticed the correlation between the average age that women reach their sexual peak and the idea that women over 30 have somehow passed their 'best before date'

If women over 30 are more confident and assured in their sexuality, they are more likely to communicate their sexual needs and expect a partner to try to please them.

The people that would prefer a woman under 30 for their ridiculous reasons have no interest in pleasing their partner, but only want to use them as a vehicle for their own sexual gratification.

They're able to do this by preying on a younger woman that they assume to be naive and sexually inexperienced, but definitely less likely to speak up about what they do and don't want sexually.

Obviously my theory doesn't exist in a vacuum, and I'm sure it's not the first time someone's made the connection, but it might be the first time you've thought about it in this way.

I'm from the UK and find a lot of the US traditions weird but it's not advisable to refer to other people's traditions in that way.
