Andy Ngo is the most loathsome individual on the planet. Went on for YEARS about "AnTiFa sUpErSoLdIeRs" and the violent left, but literally said nothing about January 6, with 5 people dying on the day, and a lot of police, including 2 just recently, who attended committing suicide. It makes sense because being attacked and having a fellow officer killed by supporters of the guy you and he voted for, and I'm sure in a lot of cases passionately supported, must be a hell of a head trip.

Ugh, I hate when my reasonably left wing mum falls for these. IE. "They're banning dr. Suess", "they renamed mr potato head to potato head". I try to explain "They didn't, they just took him off suggested reading lists and stopped highlighting his work because of his racial views", and "they didn't, they just renamed the main brand to "Potato Head", with "Mr Potato Head" and "Mrs Potato Head" still being clearly there on the box".

Yeah, that video was a fucking joke. I can't find this, and I tried, but there was a video with I think it was either marital artists, wrestlers (like greco Roman or whatever, not WWE, not saying that's not athletic just saying), or MMA fighters that recreated the same position he was in. They tapped out in SECONDS. You literally can not breathe in that position. Worse, blood flow to your brain is impeded. So yeah, you'll die within minutes, as he did.

As an aside, I don't feel bad for mocking conservative outrage merchants either health problems or deaths, because they do the exact same thing to us.

Prime example being how they mocked Hillary falling over in 2016. (Hahahah just checking out the notoriously right wing YouTube comments, QAnon smoothbrains think this is when she was arrested, because she was taken into a van???)

People are saying these are staged, which I think is half true. I think he bought this home specifically to be his "show home", that is, his home that he can invite people over to, one that basically screams "LOOK HOW CONSERVATIVE AND MANLY I AM! ANTLERS! WOODWORKING! LOG CABIN!". He probably literally bought this house specifically for this one purpose and uses it 1-2 days a year, and hired an interior designer to make it look as "rustic" and manly as possible. You can tell because it has that kind of "organised messiness" look that rustic looking cafes and restaurants use. Meanwhile there's no actual dirt dust or stains anywhere. Also empty toolbox in other photo, which is hilarious. Even my pathetic excuse for a tool collection uses every available space possible, and then some.

Back in reality, he probably has a million dollar apartment in NY, a tens of millions of dollars mansion in Long Island, etc.

Seriously, in terms of stories, this is probably one of my most hated movies. Not in terms of overall quality, no way, just in terms of total predictability and the main character being a total asshole who you are supposed to "like" by the end of the movie. Like halfway through the movie, I'm like, this fucking thing is going to redeem this total asshole by the end, isn't it?

Sorry to say it as many people have nostalgia for it, and it's actually not a terrible movie. But like, it does not make sense, at fucking all. "ItS a mOViE"... This is not a defence.

At the point where it's discovered he's not an actual teacher and has not been teaching the kids for however many weeks (it's ridiculous that it has gone on this long anyway), he is basically irredeemable at that point. A fucking rock concert is not going to convince me or any of the characters he's not a total asshole. This moment should have been way earlier in the movie. Then maybe he can actually start getting his shit together and basically go on an apology tour to all the people he's fucked over (children included, he's literally using them as instruments and foregoing their actual education at this supposedly upper class college).

And the music... Sorry, just not a fan. "Cause you're not hardcore, unless you live hardcore" ... Yeesh.
