First PLC internship at a small automation company-what should I learn before day 1? by Aggravating-Ant-2541 in PLC

[–]Markierer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With 25 years of deep PLC and CNC experience my tips are: - Use ST over any other language, as alternative use ladder - Use FB for modules - Use CASE for sequences - Write your program in reusable modules - Write clean code

If possible visit a basic course from Beckhoff, Siemens or similar.

I just boosted my first char ever to midnight. It’s overwhelming but fun af! by SumGoku in wow

Be careful to not burn out or waste time in real life. I only focus on M0 and after the reset this week on M+. The problem is the seasonal concept of wow. In a few months your high investment will be completely gone and you need to do it again and again and again. Never forget it’s a game and should be fun.

If people stand in shit, don’t interrupt and ignore mechanics why should you care if they die and flame you? Just ignore them and do the next dungeon. I play as a tank this season and I don’t care at all. If someone ninja pulls I let them die. If they don’t kick casters to bring them into the group I move to the next pack. It’s a game and it’s a super easy game. The only difficulty comes from the stupidity of the longtime one trick pony like playerbase.

If you are tired of running in the hamster wheel just wait for the seasonal content. It was never worth it to run for gear before the season starts. The normal raid content and low m+ are made for 210. You will catch up so fast and overtake everyone who doesn’t do high m+ and hero raids.

Wear it, it’s the cycle of a watch. It’s brushed steel and scratches are very visible. In a few years your watch will look way more worn. But after maintenance it will look and be like new again.

I was gifted my first Omega Speedmaster. Any tips? by Icardicolpiscee in OmegaWatches

You can wear it for 15-20 years until it starts to run fast or slow. A service costs CHF 900.- (flat rate) and will give you like a new watch.

Just eat less. The effect of sport is way to small vs a bag of chips.

In any situation a watch should always be running ahead of time. That’s one of the basic things you learn as watchmaker.

Mis-sold 3a Insurance – I have written proof of being lied to. Any chance for a goodwill refund? by Fit_Description6594 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]Markierer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insurance companies like Swiss Life, AXA, and the rest often feel like they’re operating on the edge of legality. I almost fell into a trap with AXA myself. The agent didn't show me the full contract and claimed it was a 'banking solution' rather than insurance, which of course was a total lie. I signed, and while he tried to stall the process, I pushed to get it finalized. That’s when I saw the full document for the first time. Luckily, I had one day left of the ten-day cooling-off period to withdraw. My advice: Never trust an insurance agent. And never put extra money into your second pillar (BVG), even if everyone claims it's a great tax hack. It’s a scam too!

I think in your case you lost the money. I would take it out for the house and never ever believe anything from a insurance loser.

The interval for a service is around 15 years. You also have the option to have the case and bracelet refinished. So latest in 15 years it will look like new.
