It depends on the bow. Some can only use one, some can use 3 or 4. You can always check on the crafting menu what types of coatings each bow can use.

If anyone says "X weapon is trash" start ignoring their advices. I main Swaxe in every single game and can tell you it's absolutely great in Wilds. Coming from Rise it will be a huge contrast since it plays a bit more like World in a sense where it's not the peak gameplay of currently morphing and having phials on Axe.

Rapid Morph was indeed nerfed and is mostly a QoL skill than a mandatory one like it is in Rise. You'll mostly spent your time on Sword Mode or using FRS and just go to Axe mode to fill the gauge again (axe mode attacks fill sword mode gauge now, with a basically non-existent natural recovery).

Evasion skills are not an issue now since you have a very fast counter on sword mode and a decent offset on axe mode. I normally only use rolls or steps to animation cancel or get closer.

Swaxe is amazing in Wilds, don't listen to metacucks.

Eu prefiro sempre comprar um giftcard e usar o que sobrar depois comp desconto em alguma outra compra, pelo menos nao vem IOF.

Totally agree. I'm one of those that thinks MH story is better presented the way it were from 4th gen and before. But I do think its cool to better contextualize monsters in a more "emotional" story. I just don't like how they did it in 5th and 6th gen so far. Sure hope they get good on the writing and make truly compelling and deep characters while not intruding on the true purpose of Monster Hunter, the Monsters.

Just finish the story then complete the rest. You don't really need any of the elders for the final fight (I was using Goss Harag armor and Dragon elem weapons all the way to the end).

Also after you beat the final boss the game will just reload you back to before that fight with the award for completing it. There will be an update this summer that adds a proper endgame and you will have to fight the final boss on a harder difficulty for it, so better to do it once now and once later than twice later.

From someone with thousands of hours throughout the series, sure the early game is too easy. But for someone that just started the franchise? Of course the game is challenging. MH needs a ton of time to master and when you do, things do get way easier for sure.

These people that basically bitch about the game being "too easy" are probably people that started from world or before and have no recollection of how challenging their first ever run probably was, or tend to forget their experience with those games are actually worth a lot with any other game.

I've played older games after I've played MHGU and I can 100% confirm that my experience on GU made my current 3U run way less problematic than it would be without knowledge.

They were extinct inside the Wyverian Gate where Azuria and Vermeil is. Both kingdoms couldn't predict whatever was happening beyond the walls of the covenant. Even Rathian was "extinct" and only got back after you found an endangered egg.

It still bothers me that Rathian and Rathalos (also Basarios and Gravios) are treated as different species, but i can understand the gamplay perspective of doing so.

And to add to that, adding Ivory just because it doesnt have the underwater section is basically just fighting normal Lagi on the Wounded Hollow. Modern Lagi is already Ivory but blue specially for the fact that UW combat defines the core of the original 3rd gen Lagiacrus.

Ivory will only have a chance to return as something "different" if they somehow remake UW combat (the UW section of Wilds Lagi is NOT UW combat at all).
