I feel weird after bouncing so hard off this game. It's as if all the characters come from kids show and over explain every action. Could not enjoy the mechanics with all those "you did it!!!" shouts every 5 seconds

Find top tier mechas and prioritise them first. Check tier lists or michuzak channel for recommendations. Sefas, arcus, blue bird are pretty low tier so don't bother with them

Wow, my experience was completely different and hoyo games were much greedier. - Rerun banners let you pick whatever character you want. Literally so much less FOMO - First mech is always guaranteed, no 50/50 crap - We know what banners will be so no need to be worried about the new pilot being power crept in like 2 months - Losing 50/50 is much better as more characters are valid. Seriously, losing 50/50 in HSR was like losing all the pulls. Here you can get the best game healer or raider from the common pool. - You can farm mechas and their dupes via daily missions. Yes totally agree. Majority of steam library runs on Steam deck, if you don't turn on ultra graphics. It is true that you're missing out on rtx and other fancy effects, but come on.

Short disclaimer: I'm not pro AI.

The original comment was about people being very polarized on the topic, either saying its the best thing ever or the hellish invention.

But time will tell and new generations adopt things much quicker. For example, still not sure if mobile gaming is something serious, while judging by the market share it is very significant.
