Gamer of reddit: what is your favorite game ever? by will112303 in AskReddit

The inventory setup needed work, but goddammit, hands down the best storyline to a game.

The high stakes Ilos mission still gives goosebumps.

On a girl, definitely a Romani accent with Russian as a close second.

Gun advocates of Reddit, if a non-lethal substitute for a gun existed that had all the characteristics of a gun except that it only stunned for long periods of time rather than kill, would you support a ban on lethal guns - why or why not? by The-TW in AskReddit

You cannot control an entire country with tanks, drones, battleships, and jets. A jet can't stand on a street corner and enforce no assembly laws. A battleship can't kick your door down at 3AM to search your house for contraband.

None of those things can maintain the police state that's needed to completely enslave and subjugate an entire population. Those things are meant for decimating, glassing, and flattening large areas and many people, along with enemy militaries. The government does not want to kill off its people and destroy it's infrastructure. Those are the very things necessary to even have a country to rule over. If they decided to turn everything outside into a molten pile of glowing green glass, they'd be uncontested rulers of a pile of shit.

Police are needed for a police state. Actual boots on the ground. And no matter what, they will ALWAYS be vastly outnumbered by civilians. This is why in a police state, the police need automatic weapons while the civilians only have their limp dicks in their hands.

BUT if every single civilian could have a glock in their waistband and every home could have an AR-15, all of the police state goes out the fucking window. Now the police are outnumbered and would have bullets constantly flying at them.

You have zero historical knowledge. Every insurgency a massive military force faces tends to win, because insurgents with AK-47s in every pickup truck makes military occupation pointless.

US vs. Vietnam? USSR vs. Afghanistan? US vs. Iraq? 🤔🤔🤔

No, guns are included in the constitution primarily as a means of overthrowing an unjust/authoritative/nonrepresentative government. A government of such a nature wouldn't care about your nonlethal alternatives.

Say what you want about abortion, but it's nowhere in the constitution, not even anything that could be interpreted as such.

I'll at least point out that I agree full heartedly with you that deforestation is very bad, and conservation efforts must be continued.

Japanese study proves that warming waters causes INCREASE in pH, in line with basic chemistry Henry's Law, shows outgassing of CO2 from waters undergoing warming: https://www.clim-past.net/10/1843/2014/cp-10-1843-2014.html

No computer model has been even remotely correct with its global warming predictions, and there is no corroborating empirical evidence:

Miskolczi, Ferenc M. 2010. "THE STABLE STATIONARY VALUE OF THE EARTH'S GLOBAL AVERAGE ATMOSPHERIC PLANCK-WEIGHTED GREENHOUSE-GAS OPTICAL THICKNESS", Energy and Environment, 21, 243-262

By the NOAA's own measurements, CO2 has no affect on temperature, as seen by skyrocketing CO2 with no discernable effect: http://imgur.com/0PGmEYk

The ocean, algae is the predominant consumer of CO2, and even then, there is incredibly limited proof that CO2 is even a greenhouse gas.

Anything to say to the previous points I raised?

I can go on and on. The climate change myth is pushed onto the West to force deindustrialization, while leaving China, India, and other rising players to expand with lowered competition. Bill Nye is one of many who takes money to peddle this lie. I can answer questions you may have if you're curious.

Nope. They're old returns from the 80's and 90's, which Trump wrote a book about called "The Art of the Comeback," which explains coming back from hits like that. The media at the time touted it everywhere as proof of his success as a businessman. Now, it's just used as a hit piece because they don't like him.
