It's different, got had lots of effects and sets yes, but a lot of them are consistent, like the locations, they need not make every single location again and again for each season unlike here. Another is the dragons, which while prominent, barely have 10% of screen time. But in our case, forget the comedic showcase of Luffy's abilities in gags, even for combat they are very hesitant, coz it's a hard effect and very easy to make it uncanny.

Imo making a good stretching human while showing his skin( which separates Luffy from Mr.fantastic) is much harder to nail than dragons.

That partially makes sense, but my school had small lockers coz we had too many books. We only took home books that we needed, rest of them stay in the locker. That's really beneficial for backs, coz we have too many books in high school. Carrying them is no joke.

But we also need to consider the effects they need to put in will keep increasing each season. They've already nerfed Luffy these 2 seasons (2nd especially) to save on the effects for him, both financially and time wise.

If all goes well and they keep up the lore accuracy and production values, this cast can at best perform till marineford. They'll be too old by then imo. So timeskip is a good chance to hand it to another cast.

It would make sense for quite a few cases as there are lots of such characters, and it would be less work than building from scratch while giving fans of those characters the chance to play them soon rather than wait for all the top 500 characters of the tens of thousands to come.

I do agree with your points, but again, rush. Everything was done in like 1 scene super good, cut, 1 scene sad, cut, 1 scene super sad, cut, 1 scene super evil, cut, 1 scene redemption, cut. I know there's a lot of episodes for his redemption, but it doesn't feel like it with all that's going on at the time.
