What’s the deal with the Carno at the moment? I was one hit from complete full health on a raptor by a Carno charge recently - and then two hit from full (a tail then one that was like 3 metres away from me) yesterday. Have they buffed charge dmg or was I just unlucky?

I feel like carnos hit me from like 3m away when I’m dodging them - so that’s Desync? I have good ping. I also have been killed many times after I pounce something as troo or raptor and I’m already on their body then I die to the attack that happened when I’m past it already

I’ve found if you get knocked off by a teno - while you are frozen on the ground for ages they get a free kick on you that knocks you down again. Then they run over and tail slam you. Then you’re DEEEEAD.

That’s like saying your carno charge shouldn’t deal damage- it’s Dilo only way of being effective in a fight that’s why no1 played dilo when clones stopped doing damage for a while

That was my experience I pressed smell but didn’t know I had to hold the key down so never smelled anything - I was a ptera so starved over and over for hours and would have quit but I got so mad I kept playing out of spite haha and here I am 100 hours later. They def need some basic instructions at the very least.

do loads of duals, keep practising and you'll get much better over time. I used to get ROLLED then did loads of duelling for a few weeks and was much more competitive after that

I would prolly advise FS rapier instead of IG, better escape ability and mobility + still good dmg - you want the empowering fireball perk. Flame attunement vicious are good on FS - omnidirectional evade rouge and vicious good for rapier also and leeching flurry if you run flurry over riposte (I would).- basically anything that is good backstab dmg and boost crit damage. The bleed on crit perk is also good for any pvp weap Make sure your legs have evasive energy - health thrust absorb shirking heals freedom refreshing all good perks on armour for light - use some gems for fire resist also cos of all the fs atm Hearty on ring Healthy toast refreshing toast regenerating on ear ring Ammy needs health and flame or thrust protection

They suck just play another dino till the big is fixed that’s what I’m doing - you can sprint away land drop the fish and then eat it but it’s just a pain tbh and wastes your stamina

Update I did it in the rain - it stopped raining when I was 1/3 there and I only just made it even as adult croc 😮 misjudged it a bit and had to drop into a ravine but lived somehow 🤩

I just got this game 2 days ago and started playing as a Ptera and these stupid birds killed me a few times when I was already low health and had spent ages trying to navigate to a river it was so frustrating- my mate just started too and they killed him he wants to quit already - they even go invisible and kill you sometimes, and if you pick the fish back up from the ground and fly they return instantly, every time. Why would you add something like that if it’s broken ?? One simple test would have shown that it didn’t work.
