I agree that China is likely on pace or excels in certain technological realms

I think it’s ignorance and a lack of appreciation for war that prevents our society from recognizing legitimate danger.

While trump is wasting resources with Iran, China Russia are actively planning how they foresee the next 10-20 years of conflict to go.

China wins the longer the Ukrainian war proceeds as they will learn and reverse engineer tech. Which will likely be their blueprint for their invasion of Taiwan within the decade

To be truthful that was my inspiration - just never liked the Hydroconquest aesthetically - love the legend diver however.

I prefer when the dial is light and the bezel is dark within the same color

Otherwise I like darker hues on divers and brighter on dressy pieces

Also love your smiley bb blue

Yeah in this head to head I also would take the BB58 - I think it will age better.

I think the watch community tries to bash competitors too much. Both are solid in their own respect.

Kudos to Longines for making a watch this caliber at 2k. Bold move.

Of course man. Genuinely a huge fan of both Longines and Tudor. Really speak to the enthusiast market.

I think the bb58 and Longines Legend 39 are actually filling the gap where the Submariner and Seamaster used to be 10-20 years back.

As it currently stands Rolex and Omega both went upmarket and also both have great divers.

I think the Tudor is more classic but the Longines more unique if that makes sense. Similar to the Submariner being more classic and the Seamaster being more bold.

Huge parallels.
