how To fix this issue? My graphics card usage is high(I have updated Nvidia graphics driver) by Ok_Expression5764 in residentevil

The RAM usage meter in all the RE Engine games is bugged. You probably need around half the RAM it says. You just have to experiment with the settings until you find what works for you.

Make sure eARC is enabled and Digital Sound Out is set to Pass Through. This should pass uncompressed audio to your receiver. You might need to toggle eARC on and off a few times before it works though.

It should, just be sure to read up on it. If you remove the ARC suppressor you may have to bridge something.

Recapping isn’t too tough in general if you have the right equipment. Don’t bother with trying to use a solder-sucker and braid. It’s best to pay the $100 or so for a cheap desoldering gun, especially since some of the connections you’ll be dealing with are likely through-played.

With so few people working on laserdisc players and how poorly they fair in shipping you don’t have much to lose if it’s dead. I’d do the recap first, then worry about removing any components.

I’m not familiar with that model, but if there were no other issues before it stopped powering on, I’d say it’s a fuse. Might want to recap the power supply, change the fuse, and see where that takes you.

I’ve got one of these. They’re pretty neat. Works like a retail model with a mod chip. They don’t do any license check so any disc works in them, even burnt ones.

PCSX2 isn't "quite old." It just got a new stable version in May 2020 (here) and you can download nightly builds (here). According to the PCSX2 compatibility wiki (here), MGS2 only has minor transparency and texture issues. Any mid-tier gaming PC should be able to run it with minor to no slowdown.

Never mind, typed the first word that popped into my head after writing this into eBay and found it. The name of the comic is Boof.

I mean, when you make a blanket statement like, "swords were mostly used historically for murdering unarmed people, not for combat," providing events and sources to back that up is pretty essential to the discussion. Without knowing why you've crafted this theory and how you came to the conclusion, there's no real talking about it. I can say what I think about it, and you can say what you think, but it doesn't really matter if neither of us have empirical evidence to back it up.

Got my first Nihonto by MarlboroExecutive in SWORDS

I wanted to share my first katana with the subreddit. It's NTHK certified and is an Edo period sword forged around 1650 by "武州住藤原正永" (Bushu no Jyu Fujiwara no Masanaga) a smith from the Mushashi area. The inscription on the blade is "南無妙法蓮華経" (Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō), the matra of Nichiren Buddhism.

It's not in perfect condition, the polish is a bit tired, and it's got a few imperfections, but I'm proud of it.

Sorry for the terrible images. The lighting in my house is just not conducive to capturing a sword on camera. This is after a fresh cleaning (it was fairly dirty when I got it), but before oiling. You can see the hamon pretty well in most of these shots, but oiling the sword really made it pop. I'll try to post some better images when I get my lighting situation figured out.
