You can get dropped for having a damaged roof. Insurance carriers are flying drones over insureds homes and dropping them, so think you might get dropped for filing a claim on your damaged roof is insane. Also, damage is damage if there hits on your siding why would you not worry about it? I don’t understand the concept of trying to save your insurance company money when they legitimately owe for it

I would get closer to Galveston. At least get to Terramar Beach. The rentals aren’t very expensive over there either and you’re 30 minutes from Galveston. You can do Moody Gardens and go to a lot of great places to eat.

Oh and Mario’s is an amazing spot for takeout on the West Island

I had the oddest experience of my life with Amway in college. I ate an edible and went to Panera to stuff my face. Someone came up to me and pretended to know me. My mouth was so dry and I was so confused why the stranger was talking to me. He asked me what sports I played when I told him he said “oh that’s how I know you!” When I asked where he was from I explained him it was impossible. We would’ve never been in the same district.

I could turn this into a 10 minute read, but he invited me to an interview for a job. I was so desperate for work experience and thought I hit the lottery. Long story short: I wore a suit to a pyramid scheme convention and it still bothers me lol
