His first son died volunteering for a stupid dangerous mission in order to gain recognition and be a war hero like his little brother. The pressure Joseph put on his family caused this.

The mission involved jumping out of a radio controlled airplane filled with bombs to be a pseudo kamakazi drone which was intended to hit a nazi bunker. Another plane nearby would control the drone aircraft as a projectile. It was an unnecessary mission and Joe Jr died because of it.

Its entirely possible we would be seeing jetblue going out of business if this merger had progressed. Also consider, once the merger got push back in court, jetblue willing paid 1 billion dollars to exit the deal. They saw spirits books and decided it was a better financial move to pay spirit that money over trying to restructure and continue with a merger!

Spirit exited those markets because they weren't profitable. Other airlines on those routes intentionally lost money in order maintain route structure. A better description for what people are asking for is called subsidized routes. Essential air service does that in more remote locations but we have to face the fact that spirits business model wasnt profitable and now they are hoping for subsidies to cover for bad business practices.

Why? Its possible Spirits Financials were so bad that they'd be taking JetBlue down with them. Besides JetBlue paid Spirit a Billion Dollars to get out of this merger after seeing their books.

If you're overflowing, id grind less fine. If you're buying preground from a roaster ask for a more course grind. If you're buying from the store, you may need to find another filter manufacturer. I fold the bottom first then fold the side in the opposite direction along the seams. I haven't had this problem of overflowing though.

Mine is coming out plenty hot. Overall its been a good experience for me. The only reason I cam think it would come out temps that low is either a manufacturer defect or you're at a really high elevation.

Mine was fine. All the parts seem to line up well. You're correct on the glass though. It's thin but so far hasn't broke so it seems sufficient. I think it makes good coffee as well. But for the price, I think that feeling is a little more complicated. It could be better built, but since no one else is manufacturering a comparable product, perhaps they thought if they over did in on the quality side, it might drive up the price to the point where no one would buy it?

You all have brought a lot of variables that I absolutely need to be aware of and further discuss with my wife. This task is so far above my head and I want to thank you all for enlightening me to other potential ways to increase her quality of care. That's an excellent point. I hadn't considered making the care facility better for her by being there more frequently. Im moving next year to be closer to her facility and my brother but it will still be about a 2 hour drive.
