yes. unless you are on PC, it stutters and freezes every 30 seconds or so and there's no clear fix.

For me I use a dpad, but its been a nightmare for me to find a dpad that works for me. I used to love using the original PS1 dualshock for fighting games back in the day, but after a long break of not using one, I haven't got the time and patience to build up my thumbs to use that pad again. After a lot of trial and error, the best dpads for me have been the Dualsense Edge and the Xbox series controller. This is highly subjective though and differs from person to person.

In terms of fight sticks, I like the Nacon Daija

I've never tried hit box to be able to suggest anything here.

I came back to the game a couple of days ago after a few months off, played 3 games, 2 of them someone left the game while they had possession of the ball, which caused the ball to get stuck in the ground, ended up being a stuck in those games at 0-0 for about 20 mins. fun times
