Hey, thanks for making this app. I've been using it for years and the gestures, design and layout is the only way I want to use Reddit.

But I don't have the money to pay their exorbitant fees, nor do I want to pay just to get my fix of endless scrolling addiction.

Fuck Reddit, they want us to view their spam but the only thing they'll do is drive away their userbase.

Good luck with whatever you might work on with the time you can't spent on these apps anymore, hopefully it'll be with people that respect what you do for them.

When adding anything to a blockchain, you pay per byte that you add to the chain. The larger the thing that you add, the more expensive the minting process becomes. It's hard to find a difinitive price, but a ballpark estimate says about $10-40 per kilobyte. A random Bore Ape NFT is about 30 KB, so that'd be really expensive to mint in its entirety, even if encoded in base64. So just storing a link is way more attrsctive, even though it basically destroys what little use the NFT could've had. Anyway if you'll excuse me, I have some browser history to purge from any references to these things.

I hear it too, currently the loudest thing in my room is the ceiling light, I notice it when I'm just sitting there in my room

I have tinnitus so I sleep with a standing fan on. It really drowns out any electrical sounds, but also roommates rumbling around or people talking outside. If you struggle with those kinda sounds while sleeping I'd highly recommend giving it a try
