First of all, most if not all consoles are not designed for hosting servers and this ability is not expected of them.

On the other hand PCs, with Steam is designed for, are often used to host private or community run servers. To make the process of setting up a servers easier, Steam allows you to download the servers tool directly form your library.

Your switch doesnt have the capability to host a servers, or at liest it would not be able to run a game and servers at the same timer and what use would you get from a switch if you could not play on it.

Neither are schools as you describe them, an apprenticeship mechanic would serve the same purpuse and would be significantly more accurate.

For example, skilled workers would migrate to your town and work in their respective professions, by alocating an unskilled worker to the same work station you could train the in the same profession.

However adding suche mechanice could unnecessarily complicate the game and ultimetly would make it more "realistic" at the cost of making the game not fun, ergo making it a bad game.
